Yes, we are. But, we have our "nice guy" head coach back, so that's all that matters, correct?

I also firmly think Kubiak will get a contract extension and massive raise at the end of the season. No way will McNair let him be a "lame duck" coaching during the final year of his contract.

I don't know if it's Keenum, the line, or the Texans play calling, but opposing teams can just blitz at will against the Texans and they have yet to stop it.
 
Why not let Kubiak go after the game? Start the search now. Let's see who is interested. Let's give the new coach more than training camp and preseason to see what he has and figure out what he needs.
 
We're a bad team. Can make all the excuses in the world but at the end of the day we're just bad.

JAX is winning. We could be dead last in the South real soon.

Stepping up in the pocket doesn't help against an unblocked defender. Either get the ball out, evade the defender or take the sack. Stepping up into the pocket on an unblocked defender will get the qb killed or get him strip sacked.

All that said, I'm out. I have them one more drive. I'm not wasting 3 hours watching this. Ice wasted 40 mins already.

Smart play by Keenum to take the sack and get out of FG range. Pin Oakland deep with a punt instead of giving them decent field position after a missed FG.

What coach that's worth anything doesn't have a job right now? Even Cowher and Gruden aren't leaving their gigs midseason.

No the statue would have been sacked on that play that Keenum extended with his legs. That was not even int the zip code of FG range. At least be factual.

Not on that play, someone can peel back or Keenum gets some extra time to throw it away. What he did was worst thing you can do, outside of throwing an INT or fumbling.

It's a combination of the three. The playing calling means the QB can't audible out of the play. the O-line can't pickup the blitz and Keenum seems to have difficulty recognizing it's coming.

How does this change the fact that Keenum needs to make less mistakes? Straw man. Come back when you gain some reading comprehension.
 
finally, a snap from center using the tried and true Kubiak stuff, wide open. Cater to the young qB with his alma mater's gimmicky stuff and the NFL will eat you up.
