Per MRI, Giants WR Sterling Shepard did in fact suffer a torn ACL on the last play of the game against the Cowboys...............ACL #23.Watching Giants' WR Shepard game, I would be entirely shocked if he did not suffer an ACL rupture. The injury was non contact with left knee hyperextension. Shepard suffered a left Achilles rupture December last season........also against the Cowboys. No official word.
On NFLN this morning they announced the cause of the accident was that Garrett swerved to avoid an animal and over corrected causing the roll over. Investigation still underwayIt's obvious that release of details of the Myles Garrett AA are purposely being kept to a minimum. Speed (car flipping multiple times)?......nature of injuries?........."No broken bones," "minor injuries," "non life-threatening injuries"..........testing continues following release from hospital.

For good reason.I’m convinced that artificial turf is the cause for all these ACL tears!
I saw that. That is not an uncommon "excuse" used by those in a one-man accident. Glaringly absent was the speed which would have been necessary to explain/create the multiple rollovers. On NFLN this morning they announced the cause of the accident was that Garrett swerved to avoid an animal and over corrected causing the roll over. multiple rollovers = multiple mph above the speed limitI saw that. That is not an uncommon "excuse" used by those in a one-man accident. Glaringly absent was the speed which would have been necessary to explain/create the multiple rollovers.
I could only get through 29 seconds of that. Just shut up and talk. Quit your screaming BS!Anybody got a sock they can lend me?

Coming from a Cowboys fan, I thought Michael was hilarious, especially when he mentioned the Bible and mighty men of valor, I was in tears. I do watch and appreciate good analysis, but a little trash talk entertains me.For all the debate, discuss, analysis, sport-centric kind of content out there Mike Irvin's brand of whatever you call that really isn't at all my cup of tea. But I gotta admit that that said, there's damn sure a market for it and within that world of that kind of blather he appears to be pretty doggone good at it, and again, whatever it is, lol..

Irvin is a good analyst, but all the screaming and yelling makes me change the channel. Alvin Kamara has been injured and was inactive last week............he played in week 1 and he is to play again this week............all this after being arrested and charged the first week of Feb with video-documented "assault and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm" (a fractured orbital bone).................with his court date now being set aside for 2 more months (and will probably be delayed again until after the season.................but no action still taken by Goodell and the NFL.![]()

Brett Favre’s foundation, aimed at helping children and cancer patients, gave funds to USM athletics

Favre charity gave to USM while he sought funds
Favre's charity, Favre 4 Hope, donated more than $130,000 to the University of Southern Mississippi Athletic Foundation from 2018 to 2020 while he was trying to raise money for a new volleyball stadium, according to tax records obtained by ESPN.www.espn.com
Tax records show that in 2018, the foundation gave the USM Athletic Foundation $60,000. Every other organization received $10,000. In 2019, the USM Athletic Foundation received $46,817. The next highest donation, to the Special Olympics of Mississippi, was $11,000. The next year, Favre 4 Hope donated $26,175 to the USM Athletic Foundation while no other organization received more than $10,000.
....
"If the charity told donors it was raising money for breast cancer but then spends the resulting donations on an athletic facility, the people running the organization are not fulfilling their obligations to spend the nonprofit's donations the way its donors intended," she [Laurie Styron, executive director of watchdog group Charity Watch] said.
"Charities are not personal piggy banks for their founders to tap into for pet projects. Celebrity athletes don't get a free pass, and if anything, should feel more of a personal obligation to set a good example by operating not only legally within the rules, but ethically so."

why?PRIME VIDEO SUCKS
I guess I have slow internet. It’s not in HD, picture is terrible, lighting is dark and it pauseswhy?
I tried looking with Chrome and it does suck. Chrome doesn't support HD. Looks great on my smart tv thoughI guess I have slow internet. It’s not in HD, picture is terrible, lighting is dark and it pauses
PRIME VIDEO SUCKS
When I start a game on YouTube late I can fast forward through commercials & there’s a little window I can see when the commercials are over. With Prime, I don’t get that little window so I’m guessing & sometimes miss parts of the gamewhy?
Which browser do you use?The game looks great on my PC, not so great on my TV. All other TV from Amazon looks like it should, but not Thursday Night football.

And it looks better than on your tv? You don't have a HD tv?Chrome.

I know it's just entertainment, but I can take being entertained by his shtick for around 3 minutes before my brain starts to swell and I need to turn it off. lol
At least you always know where he stands: pro-Cowboy and pr-WR. Always.![]()
