I, too, got a sinking in my stomach, as I heard 610 break the news of Williams' signing.

I guess I'll be watching the Astros make their playoff run in late Sept/Oct, rather than going through another lackluster performance from OUR HOUSTON TEXANS.

I am quoting John McClain in this. If you go to Chron.com his most recent comments are there to listen to and he states this. I for one believe him because the Texans do things like this. They overpay all of the time and it's a commonly known fact. I'm sure they did this time too.

He does not he read that info the same way i have read and heard info that reggies agent demanded more then what was offered. possibly in the 30+million dollar signing bonus range
 
MW is such a great choice and the way the Texans used the "Guaranteed Lock" to make a "Bold & Surprising Move" for this freak is unbelievable.

I'm "OK" with this. Would have preffered to have traded down to do it, but the Jets were working on getting him. I wonder if the stuff coming out of California regarding what is going on with Reggie and family made them push the button. Seems there some sort of bad gang guy thing going on in the background regarding the house and stuff (heard that today on Eric Cassilis's show). That's the sort of thing that would make up McNairs mind in a hurry and this does seem sort of sudden like.
