don't know how much time I'll have to spend watching College Football this season so I'm counting on my fellow draft experts & mocksters. Seems a bit down from last year? I'm sure glad Texans drafted one of the premier 5 tech DE's (JJ Watt) y'all know I wanted Cameron Jordan, thought they would play Mario more in the 5 tech with Cameron filling both OLB & 5 tech roles. Instead Watt fills the starting LDE 5 tech then bumps to DT in four man fronts. I'm really not as worried about Watt as I am Mario, we shall see or not if Wade Phillips can live up to his "Rock Star" billing.
I was thinking WR has the most depth in this draft & Texans could opt to bolster roster here but with emergence of Jean, hopefully blossoming of Dickerson I'm going to lean more towards defense again. Either another playmaking LB, CB or even a NT. In particular Alameda Ta'amu. I would enjoy a disruptive high motor, aggressive, strong & massive Samoan jamming inside lanes. Anyway good stuff from John as always your input is welcome.
