vince looked like he landed awkward after that first 5 yard scramble.. hes ok though
 
anyone else notice how a team who beleives in their coach takes on their personality? Jaguars HC Del Rio has his team playing aggressive football, they look like a legitimate playoff team :whip:
 
vince has looked bad thus far..................after that last hit it looks like his quad still might be giving him problems............

With Vince turning out the way he has and Reggie Bush averaging more TV commercials than yards the Mario pick isn't looking so bad right now. However none of those 3 will end up being the best pick of that draft.

It could be alot worse. The good thing about Mario is that he plays well against the run. If he were to have been strugling getting to the QB AND been bad against the run, it would have been kind of hurting us thus far, but it's worked out quite well.

Anyway, back to Jax Ten.
 
Titans looking over-matched right now. Looks like the announcers may be right...their most important player may be Haynesworth, not VY.

not when he doesn't even get the freaking football..............that was the center's fault.....................I hear all the blame being put on VY, but no one ever talks about his incompetent receivers and his overrated running game which gets most of it's yard because Young is such a distraction....it sure isn't because Fatboy White is a all pro running back.

I think the reason we jump on VY so quick around here, is because he is basically getting a free pass to play crappy, because their defense is so stout. Now that the defense is having an off game, it's putting VY in the limelight and he is putting up Steve McNair numbers.

EDIT: Bad receivers or not, when your QB is putting up numbers as bad as Young's there is really no excuse. David Carr was able to hit Moulds about 50+ times last season, but Young still can't get the ball within 3 yards of him. His rushing is above average, but it's not nearly the threat vs JAX as it was in the beginning of the season.

Oh god, you should hear some of the radio callers on the sports talk shows. They would gladly throw their own mothers under a bus if they thought it would get VY to play for the Texans. I'm GLAD we didn't pick him or Reggie Bush.
 
You maybe able to blame that INT on the WR, but VY threw it way behind the receiver. Plus the corner was on the guys back shoulder, pretty much right where VY threw.

The snap was Mawae's fault, even though the guy is one of the best in the league.

I'm starting to lean towards b, because surely no one could honestly believe this stuff.

Don't know if you're in Austin, but here in Houston it has subsided over the last few years. But yeah, people still talk about us not drafting him.

if you have looked at my post in this thread I've stated that

a. VY hasn't played good today
b. neither have his teammates
