Jags @ Titans Game Thread

Offensive Line was more to blame. 4 sacks, fumble by mawae, no running game. Defense couldn't stop the run consistently..special teams was more like special needs team..Vince actually got more than 100 yards passing and 50+ running..better than he has lately.

Hatred? The guy has 4 TDs and 10 INTS. Sounds like your just riding the guys manpiece to me. The guy hasn't played well, its obvious. To say otherwise is obvious ****-riding.

yes hatred....you won't find another thread on this board looking at "everything" wrong on and off the field with a QB like you do with Vince.............I've stated many times before that I rarely start VY threads, because there are already plenty on here criticizing EVERYTHING the man does.................no one in this thread has yet to mention the bad blocking, stupid penalties, and bad running game today.................

Bro...the first game the teams played the Titans ran for almost 300 yards and VY did absolutely nothing. They had the wrong gameplan that day....it was the first game of the season.

The running game for the Titans is not bad. JAX just played the run most of the day and let VY go out and do his thing, but it was not enough.

I bet Vince would be weirded out at your riding of his manpiece.
 
I'm glad that the Texans did not draft VY. The blind love for this man despite his play is really not good for fans of the Titans.

Maybe it's because we're sick to death of all this "but he's just a winner, VY is GOD!" man love bullsh!t!

If "he's a winner", it shouldn't have mattered about the bad OL or bad running game, which are very good really.

The Titans are 6-3 despite VY, not because of him.

It's miles better then their passign offense, and it's been the readon they have won some games this year. Can the same be aid for their QB?

On a side note, I really thinkyou would be a alot happier as a Titans fan.

Weird, I'm getting this deja vu feeling all over again...

me sees no threads this year saying VY is God........like I said there is more "hatred" than "love" around here..........who cares no sense in arguing.........I'm going to watch my boy Romo play...........

Backtracking a little? Yesterday it was good enough to upset Indy and NE in the playoffs.

it is..but part of the reason they are good is because of the attention VY attracts......I just hate when people say that the running game has been saving VY......they aren't that "great"..............
 
Here's one thing I noticed about VY today. About 80 percent of his completions are to stationary targets. He really struggles completing passes to guys on the move. The few throws he does complete to moving targets are usually inaccurate.

Rich Gannon was critical of many of VY's throws throughout the game today.
 
i don't see why everyone is making a big deal out of this. typical Vince Young game. stupid turnovers, terrible passer when it matters most, etc....nothing unusual here.

I think there is some validity to saying Young changes the way defenses operate by being on the field, much like Bush changed the way people defended New Orleans.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when teams do like Jacksonville and let Young try to beat them (just like teams have done with NO and Bush). If he doesn't do better than today, he's in trouble. At the same time, I'm not about to judge him on one game.
 
one thing I noticed Fisher should try to do is throw it on 1st down more often.....a lot of times Vince has to complete 3rd and longs, because of the conservative play calling...in the 2nd half they let him throw it more with the no huddle offense and Vince looked more comfortable..............

Well, there is no Texans game today. Everybody is looking for a game to watch and Jax vs. Tenn is the one most interesting to us AFC South guys.

Alot of Houstonians had the opportunity to watch VY play maybe for their first time. This season anyway.

That's something coaches do when they don't trust their QBs very much. Sometimes it is better to get the guy into a managable situation. If your QB throws INTs something like 5% of the time, and throws TDs only 2% of the time, you don't want him forcing things.
