The name of the game is deception, and the defense does it too with all their oddball formations, movement before the ball is snapped, showing blitz, faking blitz, d-linemen dropping into coverage, it's all about deception.
I'm not trying to be a Belichick apologist, but if Vereen reports non-eligible on one play and is suppose to report again if he stays in, that's on the refs, not Belichick.
