I honestly think kubiak calls plays like that because of matt's limitations.

He's afraid of throwing an int or taking a safety. Or just some typical Texan weird ass play happen.

If you had faith that your qb could convert at least some of those situations, why wouldn't you let him?

I spoke to Steelbtexan before the game........told him to watch Luck's back foot during his passes........it virtually always is up off the ground........that's a recipe for inaccuracy, especially when trying to pinpoint drill or long throw (with accuracy).........watch him.
 
Seeing the replay of the long pass to Andre, I think that would have been 6 if not underthrown.

Goddamnit, Walter, catch the ball.
