Trying to draw us offsides. Bank on it.

They will go for 3, get the ball back in second half and think that a TD and extra point gives them the lead.

FG was the smart play there. Kubiak is taking over for Dennison in the Red Zone, IMO. Kubiak says he (Kubiak) has final say-so but I think he's letting Dennison call the plays between the 20s. Has the stench of cutesy cute to it.
 
We need to put a spy on Sproles...and Nolan ain't it, not to say that any1 else could do better but sum1 needs to try
 
now NO gets the ball back at half time and go down and score and then we are losing just like that! nice redzone performance guys
 
I am impressed with the Texans D so far...... Offense is awesome between the 20s, but the Red Zone performance leaves a lot to be desired.


All in all, I'm happy with the Texans so far, let's hope they put together a 2nd half that is at least as good as the 1st.
 
Not a bad half. We can definitely move the ball into the red zone. We just need to finish. I don't think it's the Saints defense holding us back, we're not getting the right calls in the red zone.
 
I know I'm supposed to be a good sheep and just be happy for a lead...and believe me I am!!! But these red zone trips are killing me!!!

Shreddin these guys between the 20's but hate getting FG's so damn close to the line.

Again, love we are leading, but red zone is killing me right now.

Time to let my daughter play on the computer again....be back after i drop her off most likely this evening.

Have you guys seen the weather in Charlotte? Torrential rain in the Jags game its really horrible conditions there!

Going into this game you'd have taken this at half time if you'd been offered it, so lets not get too down on the team. Lets remember the #1 Redzone threat is out as well.

Hopefully the D can stand them up at the start of the 2nd and we'll go down and score. Still hurts that we could have 28 right now.

My theory:

Dennison is calling plays between the 20s, Kubiak is taking over in the RZ.
 
Yeah, getting out of the redzone with points is killing us :rolleyes:

Points is points, I'd rather take the 3 than nothing, which as we've seen in our last 2 games from our opponents is entirely possible too

when you can't punch it in against a great offensive team like the saints, it poses a big problem.

Tate is playing well, but I think Foster makes a big difference in the Red Zone....
