I just hope this team doesn't let up and start coasting, letting the Colts think they're back in the game. I've seen too many Kubiak teams play "not to lose" -- conservative play calling, prevent defenses, letting a game get too close -- to feel completely comfortable. The Texans need to keep applying the pressure.

I figured it was blacked out, which it has NEVER been blacked out in Amarillo in the 9+ years I've had SundayTicket.

We didn't have a WADE PHILLIPS defense before.

That is the major difference. It's impacting our offense, too. Our offense, IMO, was tight all last year because they know they couldn't have any mistakes in order to win the game for us (due to our bad defense).

Look now. They're acting like they're playing against CHILDREN out there.

Which is a good move if the run keeps working. But they shouldn't go so conservative that they stick with the run even if the Colts start stopping it.

This is true. A rotten defense puts a lot of pressure on an offense when they think they have to score a TD every time they touch the ball.
