Would not have minded them using Foster there and burning a timeout to see if they were keeping it honest on D.

Ah well. The 3 points for us is better than 7 for them! Good half. Really should have put the game to bed though.
 
meh......could be worse, could be better, but it sure as hell isn't what I was expecting.
 
Overall good first half. Feel like we can really improve our offensive play calling. Want to see us break out the second half

Looks like the whole AFC East might have Nolan on the payroll.

All he had to do was run up and engage the defender, and McCain is in for a TD. Instead, they all cluster up like lovesick doves. Dumbasses.
 
NOT happy with the first half. We should have 35 points right now.

Giving them too damn many opportunities and our pressure on Sanchez hasnt been consistant or great.
 
I seriously want to know how the Texans can tweet reports during games, but NFL players cannot.

How legit is the Texans' tweet???

Our own blockers held up the return, or it would have been 7.

They guys running along the sideline need to move inside as soon as the return started..

Exactly what I was thinking. They were clueless on how to return that. If Nolan just split off of their little tank they had going it would've been a TD.

You're joking right? Official team accounts can tweet during the game. Psst, don't check the official New York Jets account because they're tweeting too tonight.

That's what I'm saying. He didn't "throw it away" but he put it where only his guy had a chance to get it. The other guy sounded like he was calling it a bad play. It wasn't as good as a completion but it was a safe play which is what you want in that position. If he had been able to set his feet he probably tries to thread the needle but he wasn't able to set his feet.

SIX days ago, I posted this in the predictions thread:

I'm thinking we have a lapse in focus the first half, still able to lead the game by maybe a score of like 17 to 7.

Then, in second half, we score two more TDs to make it 31 to 7, and the Jets score maybe one more TD and maybe a FG but it's all in garbage time.

Texans 31

Jets 17

KEY TO THE GAME: Our secondary. If they play lights-out, it's an easy win. If they start drinking their own Kool-Aid and miss assignments, miss tackles, etc., it will cause us problems everywhere. Just remember that I said that.

Pretty scary ****, huh? I'm nailing it. 17-7 at half, lapse of concentration, secondary playing a bit poorly tonight. Now for the final act. If I nail the score, I deserve an Internet beer from everybody up in this mug.
 
If we lose Cushing for the night that is going to be a huge loss. Cush was having a beast of a game.
