One team we played this year said that if u block someone in the back u r immediately benched on ST. The commentators mentioned it during one of the games

I think that's actually the only way Kubiak can genuinely attack him: On the injury situation.

Which means there's other stuff going on, and so Kubiak lets off a little steam. makes sure the rest of the team knows that he (Kubiak) knows what's up.

I think Tate is ready to go to another team and be THE guy there. And I think things are just coming to a head with the two. Injury was a chance for Tate to sandbag (make a statement) and Kubiak made a statement of his own.

I'm surprised it didn't get called as a penalty, even though it was Brady putting his head down that caused it to be a tackle around the head. I don't mean that as a biased toward the Pats thing, but rather a "every touch on a QB is getting called" thing - I really thought it would get called.

I'm happy he can get there and make a tackle, but I'd actually like to see him start beating one on one pass blocking more often...

I said the same thong about Brooks reed last year...

Even when his numbers looked pretty good.

His speed and quickness look good, but you can't keep running up field past the qb...that's ineffective
 
Honestly, that 3rd down was the reason why we are losing. Martin and Jean just aren't getting it down as receivers. Too many drops. Schaub made the throw this time for once.

Hey, preaching to the choir. I was not thrilled with the pick on draft day, and I am still not excited. I am not calling him a bust or a bad pick (yet), but I would like to see him do something. Numbers lie...the tape does not.
 
We're not doing a very good job today, but the refs are really killing us with one-sided calls...

He doesn't use spin moves. He's not Barwin.

He swims, he slides. I have seen him on multiple sacks this year, and even back in preseason, when he would move upfield, then slide laterally and zoom right into the QB out of nowhere.

For him to move upfield and then stop and track Brady, he saw some body language and had an instinct to stop the upfield movement. You're not there on the field a few feet away from Brady tonight. HE is.

Who else on here knows what I am saying? You're not in favor of the guy. It;s no big deal, but don;t act like you're totally unbiased. It's unbecoming.
 
Defense has played well enough since the 2nd quarter but our offense sucks. This has to be Schaub's worst game as a Texan.
