Leinart doesn't seem to be getting the short ball to the reciever in-stride, his first on the boot to OD was behind him in space, then the same for the loss of the yard. That last one he telegraphed the throw and should have been picked off, not a great start.

I think you're right about Kubiak trying to play mind games with the Jags and getting away from the run just because the Jags are looking for it.

Just because the Jags are looking for it doesn't mean they can stop it.

Maybe Kubiak faxed the memo to the wrong number? It's possible that he did, seeing as how he hasn't dialed up a smart playcall except for the very first play of the game.
