Houston Texans @ Atlanta Falcons. 10/4. Noon. CBS. **Official Dirty South Gameday Thread**

Nice touch on that pass eh?

Another 3 and out. Defense is going to be worn out by the half. Falcons gonna blow us out!

On the bright side? Astros come on at 2, first meaningful baseball games in a decade, woo hoo!

Even better? Rockets season kicks off on Tuesday! The only REAL championship caliber team this city has.

Mallett finally with a decent throw (well short of the marker though) and Graham lets it float right between his hands...
The plays that are being called today would be better suited for a soft-throwing shitty quarterback like Brian Hoyer. we aren't taking advantage of Ryan Mallett's strong arm.

Yeah I don't get the "if you don't like it go find something else to do"... I do like it that is why I am here, but you can't hold me accountable on game day for my emotions being all over the place. On consecutive plays I could hate you and next snap you be the greatest thing ever.

That is how I "fan"... my damn dog won't even sit next to me on game day :) On game day its like I have schizophrenia and a meth problem.

Finally an interesting call on defense.

Only one down lineman. Five others hovering over the line but standing up. Ryan thinks we're going to zone and drop Cushing, but we send em all and overwhelm the line. Result=sack.

Okay fine. Point out something positive then so we can look to it.

There's nothing positive, but an NFL game is not over until the clock reaches 0:00 or someone scores during overtime rules. Period. To say otherwise flies in the face of basic human logic.

Oh yeah! Got 5 extra yards on that punt return. Best return we've had all year. Go team go!

this offense needs to a great drive ending with a TD here....let the defense rest up some and get points on the board

The play calling is pathetically conservative but that's not the only issue. Mallett hasn't looked off his first read on a single play and we're in the second quarter.

Mallett has to do something here. Get the running game going and hopefully take a shot down field for once. Way to much throwing in between the hash marks
