Houston Texans @ Atlanta Falcons. 10/4. Noon. CBS. **Official Dirty South Gameday Thread**

I hear it's nice weather outside, go check it out

You know, merely commenting does not mean that comments like this are intelligent or relevant. I always see it here too.

*critical comment from someone*

"WELL GO DO SOMETHING ELSE THEN!"

Like a ******* 10 year old.

God, I really hate to complain about "homer" calls, but this is getting silly.

14-0 Falcons now. Unbelievable.

Romeo Crennel has that deer in headlight look on the side lines.
Is Romeo just too old? Our defense isn't responding to his coaching.

Make Vrabel is more in touch with this generation of players.

The Texans suck but it's the fans fault for calling them out and being negative.

I get some people don't like to hear that stuff. I abhor it in person while I'm watching the game, but in a gameday thread THERE WILL ALWAYS BE PEOPLE VENTING FRUSTRATIONS WHEN THE TEAM IS SUCKING.

I imagine if this continues O'brien will say the same ole "we have to play better"
Ala capers"execute" and kubiaks "it's on me" catchphrases

What I don't understand is that the offense looks incredibly lost every time it has trotted out there. No spacing, terrible routes, bad throws.

This shouldn't be happening 4 games into the season.

He's not too old. He's just an overrated piece of **** who's done jack ******* **** since leaving the two people who made him exist in the first place.

Idk what the answer is but we're not very good.
Being more aggressive on offense. Stop throwing 5-yard passes on 3rd and 11. Just throw it deep. If it's picked off it still works like a good punt. And be more aggressive on defense. Blitz the hell out of them, jam their wideouts at the line of scrimmage.

Pretty much play with more aggression. Take more risks.
This ***** ass conservative **** is why we're losing 14-0.

The game could be lost already so what do we have to lose?

Soft up the middle is a recipe for disaster in the NFL on both sides of the ball.

This is embarrassing. We have more talent than what is showing up on the field. Somebody needs to spark this team. The two guys who can do it are Arian Foster and J.J. Watt. Maybe DeAndre Hopkins. Down 14-0, if we want to make a game of it, we have to see that spark soon.

In more uplifting news Wade Philips has the best defense in the NFL .... ZiiiiiiiinG!

I agree, this conervative play is ridiculous. The fact Mallett doesn't throw deep is disgusting and hard to watch.....this defense is confusing to me. When will we learn to press wideouts?

Time to scrap the dink and dunk ATTACK strategy on Offense. It's time to panic and throw deep

Oh nothing to see here. Look at Crick. #Texans

Please feel free to point out one positive thing that has happened thus far. It's reality.

That is reality. But an equal dose of reality is that the game is never over until the clock reads 0:00. To state otherwise is an ignorance of the highest class and order.

Graham had the ball go right through his hands. That's my fault for noticing and mentioning it. My bad guys.

Ryan Mallett has a strong arm. Why aren't we allowing him to take some shots deep? We're dinking and dunking our way to another loss. Why not just have Brian Hoyer out there if all we want are some soft-throwing ***** passes under 5 yards?

What's the point having Ryan Mallett breaking guys fingers off with bullet passes under 5 yards? Most of the time they are incomplete because they're thrown too hard and too close.

Mallett finally with a decent throw (well short of the marker though) and Graham lets it float right between his hands...
