I think the line play has played into this as well. If Carr was more creative/instinctive/experienced it might not show the lines weaknesses as much, but the fact is he's still a 3rd year guy thats never had a good, consistent line in front of him.
Of course, Drew Brees was in an even more dismal situation last season, so these guys can turn it around. It would be nice if the Chargers would clone Ladainian for us. A strong, consistent, breakaway threat running game would do amazing things for this offense. I've liked Davis and he's looked better the past few games (of course, he's like a magnet in this offense) but if the right player is there, I think we should go for him.
