That really only works for baseball, and basketball to some extent. Football is way too much of a team game for players to just get prepared on their own. Its not like they are not trying, they are just never in sync to start the game.
 
jesus effing christ. after a performance like this i wish someone in our organization would say something. I wish AJ would yell and scream about making changes or trade me. I wish someone would say this is unacceptable. Cushing, AJ, DeMeco, Pollard, Rick Smith...anyone.

He obviously decided to allow the tacks to get their 21 point lead in the first quarter, so we could begin our furious comeback earlier in the game!

You can be motivated all you want to, if you have a ****-poor gameplan,
all the motivation in the world won't overcome superior preparation
from your opponent.

In other words, this coach is failing his players with the lack of proper
preparation.

How is it distinguishable from any other 1st quarter of this season? Going on the first half alone - the 2010 Texans are one of the worst football teams in history, at least in NFL history.

Keep deflecting blame to the players. The current regime brought them all in, but of course they won't be held accountable by the coaching staff.

How about we be prepared for a game every once in awhile with good players and good coaching? Nah, who wants that?? We'll get their someday. We've been told as much by our illustrious owner.

Exactly. As I said before, this is the 10th (!) game this year where we have been down by at least 14 points. Ridiculous.

Fisher knows Kubiak needs halftime in order to breakdown the
plays that worked best for the Texans in the first half. So, the Titans
are gonna put 40 points up before the half, in order to weather the
3rd quarter fury to be faced.
 
For the very 1st time since 2005's 2-14 season I am turning this **** off. I have watched every game ever for this team start to finish except in the 2005 year when the games were not even on in Austin since they were so bad.

Today...it doesn't matter, McNair is keeping Kubiak and the team is a steaming pile of ****. Apathy may not even be the word anymore.....

McNair talking about keeping Kubiak is like salt in the wounds. I'm more angry at him than Kubiak or Frank Bush at this point.

Just how the ****** did he become a billionaire because he is coming off as an ***** more and more to me.

You know. I have gotten to the point where I just don't care to engage them anymore. At this point heels are dug in and neither they or I will change our minds. I will just agree to disagree with them and populate my ignore list.
 
While its tough to watch, you guys in Htown don't know how lucky you are to be able to easily see the game. Those of us outside of Htown have to go to greater lengths to watch it.
 
I'm not so sure McNair will keep Kubiak around if they keep this up. Yeah he had ringing endorsements but what is he going to say "Kubiak sucks and is out of here when the offseason begins."

Just give it time.

It is bad but I am not upset right now. I know that the play offs are out of the question


I am going to focus on AJ,Foster, Cushing and enjoy their play because in 2 weeks . I will be missing Texans football and will be watching YouTube clips


Damn season is too short lol. Next year will be cool ,if there is a season,
To see Tate and Ryans back on the field
 
I could live with this shitty season, because I truly believe someone will pay for it - but getting blown out by those traitorous, bastard ass Titans. Bob McNair and Kubiak owe AJ an apology.
 
can Jacoby just run the ball I am sick and tired of his dancing, His momma and family needs to get out of the Bull Pen and make room for some real fans.

Playing devil's advocate, a great gameplan can't overcome ****-poor players either.
