Bob became a billionaire selling his shares of Enron stock that he got when he sold his business Cogen industies to Enron.

He happened to sell his shares just before Enron went broke. Just like his buddies Lay,Skilling,Fastow etc...

Not saying he's crooked. But his business buddies have been convicted. Just saying. Nah no way good ole Uncle BoB would do any shady business dealings. LOL

And who brought those players in? Who keeps the in the lineup or on the practice squad? The players themselves?
 
man whole team is meh. Schaub would usually hit him in the numbers and Johnson would usually catch that. Oh well. All I wanted just to sweep the Titans, that would be a nice consolation prize for having a crappy season.
 
Schaub telegraphed AJ on that one. Kubuakk needs to stick that Denny's menu of his where the sun don't shine.

Exactly what was mcnair supposed to come out & say? although i disagree, there were no "ringing endorsements" for this regime. All he said was that we are on the right track, which i assume everyone agrees with him considering that everyone believes we'd be a playoff team with a better coach. In fact McNair concedes in the same article that there will probably be some changes which could mean anything yet people are jumping off a cliff b/c he didn't come out & say that he was firing Kubiak & or he sucks & he's getting rid of him @ the end of the season. Just goes to show, people hear & read what they want to.
 
Don't worry guys, it's not the second half yet. The Texans never show up for the first half. Lord knows if they did, they might win a game once in a while.

People put too much into what they read. Jerry was talking up Wade before firing him, there are a million examples. Even before the year we got rid of Carr, remember all the things coaches and ownership said about him being the guy...then the next thing you know he's outta here.

No way in hell can i see Mcnair keeping Kubes around if this play keeps up.
 
McNair is supposed to say nothing at all.

Or everybody in the orgaanization wll be evaluated at the end of the season. You know things other oweners say when they are getting ready to fire their HC at the end of the season.

Why does it matter what he says? If he does get rid of Kubes all that will be irrelevant.

I can't help but think this team would have won one or two of those close games with Demeco on the field. I know the defense still sucked, but remember at the start of the season we were actually winning those games...oh well...

Lets see,

we've tried like 4 different combos at the safety spot between nolan, barber, wilson & pollard...

I about 4 different combos at the cb spots with Jackson, Quinn, McCain..Hit FA to get Allen..

6-7 different combos on the d-line between all of our guys that we have on the p-squad, brought in through FA..

the results have been the same.

the coaching or talent just isn't there.
