He is less than 1/2 way through his rehab post shoulder labrum surgery. I expect that it will be 6-9 months from his Sept injury before he can return to play. There is a ~20% chance he doesn't make it back.

Stroud said he has an issue gripping the ball when it’s wet.

Some qbs wear gloves when the weather gets nasty but CJ doesn’t like to.
