Zebras and the Texans OL concern me. This game may be the time for the Texans to hit hard and often. Second half may be dictated by rain and wind…..the half that could rely heavily on the running game.

We have to get a couple of stud O linemen. Overall we stink.

That's common strategy... we had three timeouts. Wanted to make sure we didn't leave enough time on the clock for the Jets, in case we gave the ball back. If the sack didn't happen, and lets say they were able to get another first down on the play, there's ample time to still try to get a TD.

May be an unpopular opinion today but I love games like this... back to the old school football ways. Will be a character building type of game for this team.

I can appreciate an old school low scoring or defensive battle but this game is more like sloppy to me. The weather is part of it but we can do better.

Pierce was a top leading RB in the league as rookie last year until he got hurt.
1 is it the injury?
2 is it the new WCO coaching scheme that he is not sync with?
3 It has been a complete turnaround lack of production since last year?

No Nico or Tank combined with a really good Jets D, and nasty ass conditions is making this a real struggle. I thought it would be…but losing Nico is an absolute killer.

given the conditions on the turf, I’d expect them to hold Nico out. Losing Tank was a huge blow to this team, no getting around it.

He has always been a power runner.

Second half will be about execution on offence. We need to execute well on runs and short routes even when the defence knows it’s coming.

How so Dream. Slow is calling a very conservative game. Offensive line playing scared and getting whipped. And CJ had a horrendous half. Gotta use your feet in a game like this. Dude is scared to run.

Yes. This is not a defensive battle. It's slopfest with one terrible offense and one offense with a severely ruined and progressively worsening depth chart.

When it's cold and raining, it's not only changing strategy. The QB needs to be able to change how he holds the ball if not wearing gloves. He needs to grip the ball, not only with his fingers, but with his palm on the ball (something that is not done in dry weather). If a QB does not practice this, the grip is unfamiliar and the QB is unlikely to try it in games.
