Game Day Texans at Redskins

They have to let the Skins score to cover the OVER spread.

The Texans should come out firing and score a bunch of points in the second half.
Well, at least that's how I figure Schaub will lead the team on the comeback victory.

I say now that we need to treat this game like the Colts. Come out and keep McNabb off the field in the 2nd half. Take it slow and steady and keep pounding the ball down their throats.
 
WAS' back end can hold up, making Schaub have to hold on to the ball.

The Texans' back end can't and McNabb can get rid of it on time.

That's the difference.
 
Well, the tale of the tape is in and it's pretender not contender.

ST - Slaton makes a huge mental error. Neal Rackers-Brown misses an easily makable FG by a wide margin setting up Mcnabb in great field position.

Offense - Running game looks pretty good today and was awesome last week - so let's come out slinging the ball around. Makes sense. NOT. Game plan stinks, protection stinks. Schaub looks hesitant, and already has one pick today. 3 sacks in the first half? Hell, this isn't 2002 and I landed into a time warp is it?

Defense - NO freaking pressure. Mcnabb is a good QB, but he has marginal talent around him. NO WAY in hell he should be slinging the ball to wide open guys all over the damn field. Run D is good, but it doesn't matter when the QB can take a nap and sling it to completely wide open guys. The D ought to be totally ashamed of itself and better come out in half 2 and do some damage.
 
Must be nice to have TWO consecutive home games to open the season. What a gift by the NFL.

The road game atmosphere has us rattled.

McNabb is dinking and dunking, as I expected Shanahan to have him do against us, with a few longer passes mixed in brilliantly.

Our o-line is hot one play, cold the next.

Schaub shows flashes, then ends up coughing it up somehow. Or there's too good of coverage down the field and he has to eat the sack.

We're not awful, we're just not as poised and consistent as we were last week.
 
Skins defenders are really wrapping up. Schaubs pass to AJ took too long to get to AJ. Gave defender time to wrap up AJ.

Freaking drop by Jacoby. Schaub did not have to throw it that hard, might have been a tad bit too low and too in front of JJ.

Rackers gets us 3. They said just now Rackers passed a kidney stone this week, which is the illness he was listed as having I suppose. Ouchy ouchy.
