Game 8 Thread: Texans @ Giants

This really is crappy . We seemed to be in it all game and then the turnover . The turnover stat comes back to bite us again . I'm not mad that we may lose but just bummed out . I'll be watching again next week same Texan Time , same Texan channel . Have a good day everyone . :jam:

The fact that we were still in this game was a miracle considering all the problems we have. But still it stings like a mofo.

At least we didn't look pitiful out there. Good loss.

Too bad we didn't score some points at the end of the first half. Or at least try. that would have been a "better" loss. That can be the difference in a close game.

This team never fails to frustrate the hell out of me :brickwall
Games like this give me hope though...we didn't hand them a win and put ourselves in a position to win this one. This isn't as frustrating as most of our road showings...we look respectable today.

Good effort, some big plays by the defense, Titans (and VY) got their butts handed to them, but despite everything a loss is a loss. Depressing...

Its Carr's fault. He should not have thrown to Cook! Sage would have ran the ball for the first down. In fact, I bet he could have made it to the endzone.

It feels like we're so close to turning the corner.. DANG IT!

Texans did great. No blow out and the game wasn't decided until the second part of the 4th quarter. NO ONE thought it would be this close.

could of won this game. they were there for the taking. One missed FG, wasted 2 minutes and a fumble at the wrong time.

Not to mention the D just lying down at the end of the game, stupid challenges, and stupid time out calls. The D was already giving up yards so wait until the 2:00 mark and save them so they can't just take a knee.

I bet Kubiak wants that two min drill at halftime back...oh wait, we didn't run one.

Good game guys. The Texans played very well. I missed it for a second, why wasn't the fumble by you guys challanged? I thought that your coach was going to challange it, I thought it was a challangeable play. I thought it was also very close.

I know we weren't suppose to win this one, but I am getting tired of us shooting ourselves in the foot. It is just so frustrating. :brickwall

We should have won this game. Kicking and play calling by the coach lost it. Big difference if you only need a FG to win and not a TD. That put added pressure on the whole team to try to get a TD. Coaching at the end of the 1st half was beyond bad. Sending a horrible message to the team by not trying to win. NY was looking beyond us and they got away with one.

Everyone that thought we had a better team going in then NY raise your hands? (Chirp, chirp, chirp) With Strayhan and Plexglass out, we were nearly equal, but they have a better O-line and RB and IMO, that was the difference (and that aparently no one ever heard of a guy named Shocky). Put Stayhan and Plex in and I doubt it is any where near this close. Pretty well played game by both teams. Some horrible Ref calls though, both for and against.

Thanks alot Cook, you are officially dead to me. We were on our way to a game winning TD and Carr was this >< close to redemption despite a mediocre performance.

Of course it doesn't help that Kubiak has no stones what-so-ever when it comes to scoring before halftime. I hope somebody chaps him tomorrow on his radio show, because that's total BS, especially when we have to kick off in the 2nd half. Unreal.

I bet Kubiak wants that two min drill at halftime back...oh wait, we didn't run one.

No why would we do that when we could just head in to the half tailing by 4? This is going to be hurting all week. Not to mention now we have to go meet a bloodthirsty Jags team. Well maybe that Shocking Jags Sweep will happen after they are coming off a big win against Tenn.

BTW, next time you guys all think that the team will get blown out look at some of the scores today. You guys almost beat us and a few other big underdogs are giving favorites big scares, some will probably win.

me either actually, added the thread link if you want to see more on the conversation. I think there were issues last time.

I knew those little short passes to the running backs would come back to get us.Carr didn't throw to AJ in the 4th quarter and he was having a good game...

Thanks. Just read about the probs over there. Hopefully they'll have it up later. Oh well. But thanks again.
