It's a lot better now. Noticed the speed picked up when I was on it last night for a bit and now today it's very snappy. Not sure if there was a glitch that self-resolved or someone actually did something to help, but now tried on both an iPad and desktop PC and it's perfectly fine. Thanks!

I stayed off yesterday and just got back on late this afternoon and it does seem faster.

Mary Lou Henner and the guy who was the boxer. I can't remember his name who had the TV series in which he had a teenage daughter and the blonde he worked for. I can see his face but I don't want to take the time to look up his name.
 
Someone will call Longhorn Texan and we should have it running before game one regular season..
 
Regretfully, I am forcing myself to stay off the message board more due to how slow it has been running for months. I was hoping it would be addressed by now.
 
I've not been able to connect at all on Chrome. I finally decided to try Firefox, and it lets me through after a certificate warning. Most likely, the SSL cert has expired. Normally, that would auto-renew, but I don't know how it's set up. Someone needs to alert Kevin or whomever runs the site.
 
Brave is not working for me. I get a "page could not be loaded" message.

I am able to get in through Edge but I had to click past several warnings. Just a FYI.
 
It’s funny how I said renew the internet subscription and yall are like - “Sir it is called a SSL certification.”

It's super weird to have the board so empty. I can't wait to hear everyone tell their story about trying to log onto the site and getting this error (I got the same one). 😂
 
Really suprising the SSL cert is not on auto renew. Im sure whomever registered it is getting emails saying it’s expired, and they have gone out in advance as well.

Can the mods make two suggestions to Kevin or site sdmin…

1- Set SSL to auto renew, not manual renew.

2. Mods should have contact info for Kevin and/or site admin so if a problem arises one or more mods can call or text and alert him/them to the issue.

Yep me too, finally. What's strange is that both Firefox and Chrome browsers shows that the "connection is secure" until I deleted the cookies from the site. I didn't realize that the encryption keys are cached.

I looked up his posting history.. the last post I could find of his was (in this very thread #468/page 10) on May 14th of LAST YEAR!.. I hope all is well with him.

However does anyone here have experience creating/running a message board? I would hate for this long ride to end and there really isn't any other alternative message boards to turn to other than a sub forum on Clutchfans..
 
Chrome finally lets me in without using incognito mode, but it does give a warning about the SSL cert. one of the mods is bound to have Kevins contact info. I hope. Maybe one of our intrepid IT guys would take it over if Kevin has moved on. Creating one from scratch is much more daunting but could be done. if there is someone that can download a user list with emails, that could be used to send an invite to whatever board rises from the ashes of TT.

Ideally…Kevin can be contacted ( hope he is ok of course), and he can get this fixed pronto. That’s obviously first choice. I have an IT amd web design background, but honestly i dont have the time or interest to take it on. Anyone else interested?

I think I used a AOL email to start my account.. that's how long it's been so no bueno on that. There's got to be a way to get this site up and running, the season is right around the corner!
