Forgotten Texans of Yesteryear

I feel like Aaron Glenn and Jamie Sharper are worthy of our Ring Of Honor, those guys came here and played their asses off those first 3 years of the teams existence, basically like our versions of Doug Atkins going to New Orleans Saints and fighting his ass off for them his last 3 years 67-69(having some of the best seasons of his career) on that expansion team(they retired his number at one point but guess it was unretired recently).

That was Demarcus Faggins who is worthy of this thread if only for that moment, that pic is still my desktop background on my laptop, one of my favorite moments, a pick six that beat the Jags in October 2004
You’re effin’ RIGHT!!!!!! It was Faggins!!!!

I spent the evening looking up ex Texans who never became household names and was surprised by what I found. Why do I not remember little Trindon Holliday being such an explosive weapon? Outstanding returns from this one.

Who are other little known and forgotten Texans who are overlooked due to the teams lack of success over the years?
During the 3 Amigos mock draft days, Beerlover brought Trindon Holliday to board and we mocked him to Texans and he was drafted. Excellent observation skills by Beerlover.

Gary Walker also seems undersold, our first Pro Bowler played great those first 3 years, also not many realize he was on that 1996 Oilers team played in the final games ever in the Astrodome then the first games ever in NRG for the Texans, I don't think that is something I've ever seen brought up anywhere I had to find that out in my own research.

I think all the key guys have been covered here(and a few that were definitely not forgotten, Duane Brown/Schaub et. al.), I'll add one more, an oddball one; Chad Stanley, our very first punter. Led the NFL in most punts in 2002 and 2003 because of how bad our offense was, played for the Texans from inaugural 2002 season until 2006 season. I think if we were to put an "All Time Texans" team together he would have to be our punter, Lechler was better but is more known for being a Raider, Stanley I believe was our longest tenured guy at the position. Also he played high school ball about 12 miles down the road from me in tiny town of Ore City TX.
