Duke Robinson is a senior OL from OU listed on the Oklahoma website as 6'5 335 lb. He played a little LT at OU his freshman year, but played mostly OG in those 10 games and has since been at OG. He has exceptional footwork, begging the question with some scouts as to wether he can play LT in the NFL similar to what Brandon Albert did last year. Now, last year I was adamant about Albert being a better option at OG, but Robinson isn't quite as athletic in space as Albert was, he was just a freak, but Robinson has substantially more girth about him. Robinson also has a distinctive edge compared to Albert when it comes to pass-protection. Duke also is one of the meanest players I've seen at the collegiate level and consistently finishes his blocks. So, while some will suggest that he moves to LT as an "experiment/project" I tell those people to eff off. Duke Robinson is as close to an All-Pro lock as I can tell you about with a prospect. Duke Robinson has top 15 talent at OG. He is that scary good. He comes from a great program built upon success and that has a great track record with producing linemen for the NFL.

Notice on the first play how he mirrors the defender until he passes him to the LT and then picks up the second defender and just stands him up. At the 0:13 mark, notice that blur at the LOS? That is Robinson destroying the DT and putting him on the ground in about 1.5 seconds. Watch at the 0:28 mark as Robinson puts his man on the ground. Please turn your attention to the 0:36 mark and watch him stand up his man and dominate him safely away from the QB. Then watch at the 0:49 mark as he drives his man across the field and puts him on the ground to finish his block. The second half of the video is about Loadholt, their LT.
I just salivate thinking about his athletic ability and potential in our system. You want to hide that mistake from last year? Maybe establish our running game? Or how about subduing any DT in the league...say for instance the Titans and the Jag's DTs? This is the guy.
