Or concuss Mahomes today. To the victor belongs the spoils. The Chiefs are, for the time being, the pinnacle of excellence in the NFL. The top of the totem poll. Like all other dynasties in professional sports, they will get most of the calls. Especially at home. Especially against a underdog. It is what it is. Thats how life works, which sports are a metaphor for. And it will continue like this, until someone good enough comes along and beats them. Then they will no longer get the benefit of the doubt. The Chiefs are not cheaters just like none of the other dynasties before them (except for the patriots with their deflate gate and video shenanigans). First you have to dominate and only THEN do you get the officials on your side. That is what the Texans need to do.
I would rather lose than do thatOr concuss Mahomes today.
Line now at 9 for KC Gamblers don't have much faith in the TexansLine now at 8.5
Depends on how the day goes.I would rather lose than do that
Team that used to be the Texans 27
Team that is currently the Texans 23
Please let me be wrong
Agreed, as long as you feel the same for any QB in general, including oursDepends on how the day goes.
IF he tries a fake slide all protections should be removed.
The protection is there for safety... IF someone wants to abuse those protections... they are declaring they value yards over safety.... respond accordingly.
I don't want people intentionally injured.... but if they play on the edge... I also wont cry if they fall.
CJ has yet to fake slide that I've seen.Agreed, as long as you feel the same for any QB in general, including ours
I wont wish injury on anyoneCJ has yet to fake slide that I've seen.
Mahomes actually has tried that BS.
But yes... IF our QB tries to abuse protections.... I wont wish injury upon him... but if he plays with fire... its only a matter of time that he gets burned.
Dumb loyal decision by Meco.Mason over Scruggs at RG?

Sources: Texans guard Shaq Mason back from Grade 2 sprained knee, back in starting lineup in playoff game at Chiefs
Texans veteran offensive lineman Shaq Mason returns to the starting lineup Saturday in playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefswww.click2houston.com
I have to agree but at least it convinced me that Mason has to go. I would like to see Scruggs behind a veteran like will fries of Indianapolis.Dumb loyal decision by Meco.
They would have just beaten us again. We are not quite in their league but can be after this offseason ; season 3 in the rebuild since Ryans came aboard.I’m still pretty bummed about the game. I wanted a rematch with the Ravens lol
I wanted no part of the Ravens. They would have killed us again...I’m still pretty bummed about the game. I wanted a rematch with the Ravens lol
Lamar Jackson was in high school the last time the Texans beat the Ravens.I wanted no part of the Ravens. They would have killed us again...
And lose they did.I would rather lose than do that
I certainly feel this way about all QB's.Agreed, as long as you feel the same for any QB in general, including ours
They are not taking anything back. The NFLPA is the weakest union in sports. Too often, they go along with Goodell and the owners while going against their players' best interests.I certainly feel this way about all QB's.
Time for players to take this back into their own hands and get back to playing on a level playing field.
IMO, that's because cash is king and most of them (players) probably can't see the forest for the trees. They are not taking anything back. The NFLPA is the weakest union in sports. Too often, they go along with Goodell and the owners while going against their players' best interests.
Item 1 this offseason is building a team that can compete with Baltimore. They just matchup horribly with Houston and aren’t going away anytime soon. They would have just beaten us again. We are not quite in their league but can be after this offseason ; season 3 in the rebuild since Ryans came aboard.
Senior vice president of officiating Walt Anderson said on NFL Network that there could be debate about whether there was forcible contact by Texans defensive end Will Anderson on what was ruled roughing the passer in the first quarter of the game, but noted that the NFL rulebook calls for officials to throw a flag when there is any doubt about whether roughing has occurred. Anderson also said that replay assist can help officials pick up a flag if there is no contact to the helmet of a quarterback, but that there was contact on that play.
Way to ruin the league Walt.![]()
Walt Anderson: Under current rules, officials were correct to penalize Texans on Saturday
A pair of penalties against the Texans in Saturday's 23-14 loss to the Chiefs drew a lot of scrutiny during and after the game, but the NFL's rules analyst said both calls were correct under the current rules.www.nbcsports.com

How do you think Mason did? Other than the holding penalty, did he whiff on anything? My son and I were shocked to see Mason starting. Scruggs had really looked nice starting at RG.
His run blocking has always been ok. He’s a terrible pass blocker and all the pressure came from up the gut. Poor decision to start himHow do you think Mason did? Other than the holding penalty, did he whiff on anything?
I remember a lot of big runs on that right side, including that big TD run.
Cj had some of the best pockets we’ve seen all year, until late in the game. Even then many of those sacks were because he held the ball too long or ran out of the pocket when he shouldn’t have. His run blocking has always been ok. Being honest CJ's pocket presence especially against the blitz hasn't been good all yr. Probably he's still in shock from the Kenyon Green experience. He's gotta learn to improve on this.Cj had some of the best pockets we’ve seen all year, until late in the game. Did you see Mason screw up other than the holding play which was one of those plays Cj should have stayed in the pocket.
His pocket presence was really bad this weekend
