Diggs to Houston

It sucks losing Diggs, but I think we might end up getting more explosive plays with his target volume opened up. He's not the explosive player he once was, Bills noticed this last season.

Diggs this season ranks #7 in receptions, but #18 in yards/TDs and 82nd in ypc avg. He's still very good, but he shouldn't be a high volume receiver anymore. The flow just seemed off with Tank Dell too. This could open him up to being the player he was last year, Stroud is going to get to him a lot quicker in his reads with Diggs gone.

Wasn't a fan of Diggs deal. Trading a 2nd was it? For a one year rental. Who came up hurt. Can't plan for injuries but that's a superbowl or bust move.

Superbowl still an option i guess

Well if that was the deal, I agree, but just a bit off. Buffalo traded Diggs, a sixth-round pick in 2024 and a fifth-round pick in 2025 for the 2nd round pick we got from the Vikings. Casserio has used those lower picks to target his guys. I thought it was an ok idea, but there was some good receivers to be had this year. Cannot factor in injuries

The price paid for his production bought a AFC South title.. caserio swung and missed.. Nobody can predict ACLs, but If I were the Texans I'd stop signing/trading for aging WRs.

Diggs was much better than Moulds though.

And Demaryius Thomas....

And Nate Washington....

And Andre Davis.....

And Kenny Stills......

he wasn't what he once was, but he was still very productive & on track for a 1000 yard season..unlike the others I named above.
