No, but opinions are opinions. If one guy has that opinion....well, thats his opinion. That doesn't mean he isn't a fan of the team. I see plenty of Capers or Gaffney, or Pitts, or Palmer bashers too....that doesn't make them non-fans either.THEFUTURE said:but ever to the point that we need to get rid of him?
I was thinking the same thing!!!ThaShark316 said:So....the Texans will be the 1st team to win the Super Bowl on their home field!!

Grid said:The ONLY thing you can really question Carr on.. is his ability under pressure (meaning.. sackers breathing down his neck).. and his field vision. Those are the only two things he has NOT proven he is great at yet.
Carr has always had a problem with holding the ball too long and not having a good feel for the pocket. This isn't new. I think he has improved quite a bit over his first three seasons though. I think Palmer has done a great job with him although many of you guys give CP no credit with Carr's development.Texans Pride said:Grid, and all others, do you think that "throwing DC to the wolves" as a rookie, and him being sacked so many times has anything to do with the fact that he is not comfortable in the pocket and doesn't do well under pressure?
I think we may have "shell shocked" him by throwing him behind such a poor offensive line and letting him taking the beating and abuse he has endured over the last three years.
What are yalls thoughts on this?
Holds the ball too long, inviting the sack, rather than dumping it off or throwing it away Makes proper checks, but does not have a variety of throws Needs to improve his pass drop, as he does a lot of three-step motion and will hold the ball a little too long, taking the sack rather than throwing it away.

Vinny said:The QB has a lot to do with sacks and it is not just the line. When Rob Johnson and Doug Flutie were with the Bills, Johnson was sacked constantly, but once Flutie came in he was rarely sacked. The only thing that changed was the QB, his decision making, and ability to get the ball out quickly.
