Colts vs. Ravens game thread

The Colts did a good job, there D won them the game (never thought I'd say that) and played a better game then the Ravens.

The Colts seem to have figured out the problems with their run defense, getting Bob Sanders back from injury has certainly helped in that department. Too bad the Ravens offense couldn't play as well as their defense, they were my preseason Super Bowl pick. The Ravens defense did a very good job all game and obviously kept the Colts out of the endzone, however at a couple key times in the game they couldn't get the Colts offense off the field on 3rd downs and it cost them, especially on that last drive. Meanwhile the Ravens offense kept getting itself out of managable situations and couldn't move the chains very well, especially on 3rd downs, and four turnovers is generally a recipe for disaster, especially in the playoffs.

The Colts are looking pretty good and for once have won two straight games despite Peyton Manning. However, they're guaranteed to play a 3-4 defense next week and Peyton historically struggles against them too, especially the Patriots. Both defenses are playing well and playing aggressive right now, so we'll have to see if Peyton can rebound and finally get the Colts into the Super Bowl. As much as they've struggled against the Patriots in the past, they may be rooting for them to win tomorrow so they get to return to the RCA Dome for the AFC Championship. Just a few short weeks left until a long offseason, so enjoy every minute of it.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I like the Colts. Obviously, not when they play the Texans, but I like Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy. I'd hate for Peyton not to win a Super Bowl. He deserves to win one. It was an ugly game. Neither team's offense played very well, but the Colts got into good enough field position to score enough FGs and win.

I saw some drives of that game with the Saints offense featuring Bush and
every time he got the handoff he darted to the outside.
Until he proves he can run the ball effectively inside the tackles, IMO he's just a WR who is a part-time/backup tailback.
Addai, Maroney on the other hand are backs who can pound the ball up the middle and actually move the pile besides having the speed to run off tackle.
Of course with those guys you don't get all the bells and whistles coverage
from ESPN that Bush gets.

Disagree completely. He took some licks that game in the middle and got up and kept running. He basically got all their yardage on one of their drives. Who cares if he piops it outside. He has the speed to beat most people and as he just showed in the Philly game, sometimes that burst when you are stuck pays off. The guy is a difference maker. You don't think Addai and Maroney don't get some of their yards with because of Manning and Brady?BTW, I like Maroney alot more than Addai

I hate the Colts
