College Football Playoffs 2024

Any predictions on tonight's Cotton Bowl? I think UT can win if the offense shows up for 4 quarters, the D limits OSU scoring to no more than 24 and they catch some breaks. Conversely, if the O takes off a couple of quarters and Quinn gets careless, it could get ugly. Ever the optimist, I'm picking UT 27-24 and NO I'm not placing any bets.

I believe they have a strong RB in Nicholas Singleton. I liked his production last night, but did anyone else question his 227 pound listed weight? If his is legitimately carrying that weight….he looks like he could easily add10 more pounds without sacrificing his giddy-up.

They were never a team good enough to completely snuff out any teams offense. Furthermore I put ND’s offensive struggles in the 1st half moreso on them than PSU’s defense clamping down.

I'm a huge UT fan and I believe they've got a chance to win, but if the offense puts together 4 good qtrs it will be the 1st time that happens all season. That's on Sark more than Ewers IMHO.

Last night, a friend who watches football only here or there went "something wrong with that dude's (Allar's) feet when throws." When the non-draft nerd casually watching notices this what the heck are paid scout looking at when calling him a first rounder.

OSU is playing the best of any of the teams left. Weapons galore and I don’t see how Texas keeps up offensively with them let alone stops all OSU’s guys let alone Smith who has torched EVERYONE this year.

Their only hope is to get after Will Howard and see if they can force him into some mistakes b/c I don’t see them keeping pace with OSU offensively. Ewers is trash & good for a TO or 2 a game and isn’t good under pressure. Plus he’s got 1 guy..Matthew Golden. Isiah Bond has t been a factor all year.

The offense has to step up and win the game. This is Quinn's chance to prove that he's a legitimately NFL-quality QB.

Bend, don't break and make them kick FG'S. Can't let them put up 40. We can't match that. Gotta keep them in the 20's, play well offensively, and hope for some breaks. Otherwise, we'll get beat my two or more scores.

We will see, the only thing that worries me is Day knows Ewers strengths and weaknesses. BTW, Ewers lead his team twice in the last 2 mins to FG's that could've won the game that were missed and came up big on a 4th and 13 TD that saved the Horns season. That's hardly trash, the problems with the Horns offense is Sark and his slow developing misdirection plays.

Ewers is trash bro.. period. So trash people were calling for Arch to start at 1 point this year; no discernible difference in the offense when he was in…which means Arch is likely already as good as Ewers is..and he’s only a freshman. Ewers is the only reason Texas isn’t really considered the favorite to win.

Texas can win. All they have to do is show up in Michigan blue lol. I think it's going to be a tough game for Texas. I am expecting them to get blown out. I am rooting for my Longhorns to pull it out though.
