College Football Playoffs 2024

Right before the int was thrown, I was going to comment that the ASU coach kinda looked like Slowik. He made decisions like him today too

Best game of playoff might not even be in championship if buckeyes keep it up
 
Come back from the store and the Rose Bowl is a blowout. Without the Texas/ASU barn-burner, these playoffs would be a big snooze.

I really thought this would be a great game but I thought that about OSU's game against Tennessee as well. Ohio State has looked like the best team in college football since the playoffs started..
 
Wow the SEC really gots its comeuppance during these P/Os did't it ?
Without its newest member in Austin it got clobbered big time.

Only 3 of the 12 were from the SEC. Only Texas still standing

My wife went to Ohio State, so I watch a lot of OSU and Big 10 football in general. Might be bias, but I think Penn State is solid. I wouldn't expect them to beat OSU, but if it's UT vs Penn State in the final, I would expect it to be a good game and Penn State to have a decent chance.

Look at Franklin's record against OSU/Michigan. This gives me comfort if they have to play UT. Everybody is discounting UT, but I like their chances if Sark doesn't go conservative in the 2nd half. BTW, Colin Simmons is a stud.

That's bigger than a James Franklin problem, Penn St is 8 - 24 vs OSU since playing in the Big 10 from 1993. I'd like to see the Longhorns win it all but they seem to fade late in games vs physical teams
