To add to what you're saying, it's not just Cj. He's got to be able to trust those receivers. The receiver has to prove trustworthy.Just watching Justin Fields last night. Almost every drop back, I was thinking to myself... Throw the ball already. Justin hesitates and is allergic to anticipation throws. Has to see it to throw it. You combine that with the slow separation of hands to release of the ball and I have a really hard time seeing him be successful long term.
CJ has spoiled us, and its made me reflect on Deshaun.
Some of those "anticipation throws" are dangerous & could be INTs. Some are thrown perfect to where only the receiver will get the ball, but there have been a few, if the receiver isn't there, he's throwing it right to a defender.
So that trust has to be developed. Communication, being on the same page... it's not as easy as Cj is making it look, & it's not just Cj.
