Chris Johnson doesn't report on time, loses season.

2011 Regular Season 48 rushes for 98 yds. ave 2.1 long 9 TD's 0

I wonder if Bud is happy with the results of the contract so far this season.

Plus, Chris Johnson had one of the worst games of his career in what has already been a hugely disappointing season. He followed up a 130-yard effort against Carolina with a season-low 13 yards on 12 carries, his longest gain going for only 6 yards.

“You go back to the last game and I got 130 and everything was good,” Johnson said. “You come back to this game and nothing is working. It goes back to the offense not executing, not being consistent.”

Apparently he showed up out of shape.

It is unlikely that Titans RB Chris Johnson won't improve upon his lackluster 2011 campaign, the way we hear it. The biggest thing going for Johnson will be a full offseason working with the team. A team source recently indicated that Johnson's conditioning played as large of a role in his poor performance last season as anything. Although the team's blocking wasn't great and other factors contributed, we hear he simply was out of shape until the second half, when he strung a few solid games together, albeit against poor defenses.

Not buying that excuse. He ended the season with four games in which his high water mark was 61 yards against a coasting Texans. He wasn't finding his stride to end the season as he got in shape.

I think he doesn't care as much. He was to dominant to have lost that much. He clearly wasn't running with the same type of passion and intensity.

11 rushes for 4 yards.
Looks like CJs still enjoying his payday from last year.

What an epic collapse his career has seen since the holdout

He'll have an occasionally great game, but 80% of the time he's going to have bad stats and look very ordinary.

The Titans coach, can't remember which one (maybe the RB coach) the last week or two was saying how 'CJ has that look in his eye, he's back..' blah blah blah. I was like, 'whatever.' Look at him today: FOUR YARDS. Pathetic.
