If he could deliver in this offense like FB, Tom Rathman did for the 49’ers…..it would clearly add another dimension defenses would have to prepare for. I really hope Slowick gives Brooks an opportunity to shine.

I’ve been glancing at the Texans website 2-3 times a day since the cuts to read some coachspeak etc. for these kinds of insights and they are just not putting up anything except for girls flag football, etc. it’s like they are in some kind of a holding period for something.
 
Dang, Brooks delivered a smack on special teams. It got me thinking about Denver's Terrell Davis story: He got the coaches attention with a monster hit on special teams, then was promoted from 4th round running back to starter to star. It's way to early for the line of thought, particularly with Mixon on the team, but it did ring that bell.
