Kubiak just never quite understands when it's time to roll the dice and when it is not.

He should have punted once he made the dumb decision to throw on third. Just punt them down deep. He decided to be a riverboat gambler and try a 54 yard field goal in a defensive battle.

His decisions are just incongruous with the game that is being played.
