I do, another great day,Who agrees?
If Will Allen didnt strip him for the INT i woulda said yes.
I still remember a bunch of nincompoops calling me out when I called him "T.O without the attitude." Tell me I'm wrong. Plays the exact same big, physical, fast game.

"A bunch" was probably only "a few," but I still remember the thread.
Top 5 easy...Top 3 possibly...Best maybe...
lol no kidding.Well, every single player has supporters and detractors. It is easy for the vocal few to seem to be many. I just don't think you were fighting an uphill battle on this board talking about Dre being a great player.

Moss is suffering through a season of terrible QB's. I had a coworker say that Aaron Brooks is a better QB than David Carr. Yeah, I laughed alot about that one.![]()
I think its a good argument especially this year.. homerism aside... definitely top 5 though.blinded by homerism?
AJ is a very good receiver, but Moulds is helping AJ a lot right now. You have two very good receivers who make each other look better. That is why I like our receiver core. Add in Walters and Daniels and you have very effective combinations which make each other look even better. Its a team game and AJ is benifiting from Team Play.............
Another fantastic game from Andre!!! He is leading this team by example...I think Andre is going to carry this team on his shoulders the rest of the year.
It's Dre Day....and he's blowing up on the fantasy boards.I think a majority of the board has always been high on Dre.
Looking at the wide receivers in the league, it is hard to point out one that is definatly better than Andre.
smith is the best..aj is the best BIG receiver along with TO and Moss...chad is not as good imo
Small Boys:
Smith
Moss
Big Boys:
Terrell Owens
Andre Johnson
Chad Johnson
My list would be:
1. Terrell Owens
2. Steve Smith
3. Andre Johnson
3a. Chad Johnson
4. Santana Moss
Strictly based on skills. T.O. is the most talented WR in the NFL without a doubt. From a physical standpoint, there is no equal. BUT.....and before people start jumping on me.... BUT you cannot discount the personal aspect of his game. He is a cancer and a malcontent that I would not want on my team. So from that standpoint, I would drop T.O. out of the top five when you consider the total package.
Smith #1
AJ #2
Randy Moss small?
Randy Moss small?
Who agrees?
ehhh its debatable, but not far-fetched. he is a beast. carr could lob them up and he could catch all of em.
Steve Smith - CAR
Terry Holt - STL
Marvin Harrison - IND
Terrell Owens - DAL
Chad Johnson - CIN
5 way tie at 6 with Andre Johnson, Boldin and Fitz.
WR Andre Johnson
(on the game) I feel great. We were able to get a win today. You know we have been hearing a lot of criticism and things like that. Everybody went out and did everything they can to go out and get this victory.
(on what happened when the offense got going in the second half) One thing about this game is you just cant be one dimensional. The coaches stress running the ball, and when youre a receiver you always want the ball. You get a little controversy, but nothing with coach or anything like that. We were able to make some plays downfield and the runners were able to make some good runs today, and I think it kind of kept them off balance today.
(on whether he would like more passing) I think they compliment each other. Some people say you need to run the ball to open up the pass, but I think it works both ways. I think you just have to start off with whatever works.
(on Coach Kubiak saying that he could not get Johnson the ball enough) Anybody likes when the ball comes to them, especially when youre a wide receiver. Im just thankful for every opportunity that I get. You know in the first three games (this season), I have never had this many opportunities to make plays. When Coach Kubiak first got here and I met with him, he told me that he was going to give me opportunities to make plays. So what he said, hes doing. Hes giving me the opportunity, so Im just going out and trying to do the best I can with it.
(on whether he was making catches when the Dolphins were blitzing or while he was double teamed) It was both. It really didnt matter. I think Coach Kubiak does a good job of mixing things around, and not just being in the same spot all the time. Im in the slot one play, outside the next play, or in the slot two plays, then outside. He just mixes everything around.
(on whether his alignments are helping him excel) In order to give a receiver opportunities, you cant just keep him in one spot during the game. You can only run so many routes from one spot. I think by him moving me around, (and) he doesnt just do it to me, he does it to (WR) Eric (Moulds) too, I think that by moving us around it helps both of us out.
