all texan fans sign in!

It is tough, but it's going to get better.

I really believe this team is good, but they don't believe in themselves.

They need us fans! Bad!

We may have a losing record, but we do not have to have a losing culture.

This is where the fans can make all the difference.

Go Texans!:fans:

They make me so mad I can't see straight, but that's part of being a fan. I'll be here through thick and thin, and I sure am ready for some thick. From the Cleveland game until now, we have had nothing to cheer about on Sunday's. I'm ready for that to change. What happened to the competitive team that we had? That 2004 primer for a possible playoff push in 05, what happened??? What went wrong? Somebody help me........

I've been a fan since we won the victory against LA.

I'm a fan through the dark times.

I'll be a fan when we win the Super Bowl.

Here!

And you know what is funny? It was enduring last season's 2-14 season that made me realize how much I really do love this team. You never realize how much you love a team until, though you have no reason to, you keep loving them.

When I am down on the course of the season, I simply think ahead to when 10-13 times a season I will have the same feeling I had after the 2004 Chiefs game.

By the way, I may get reamed for choosing that game over 19-10, but that victory over the Chiefs is my favorite Texans game of all-time.

this team is awful. im not sure when its gonna get any better. after todays game i think it might be awhile.

i dont usually partake in these "cheerleading" threads but i need some support. let me know im not the only fan left.

give it up for the texans!!!

Count Me IN! Always hopeful and want our TEXANS to be the best Franchise Team there is!

i'm still in this and will not leave. Having a hard time finding people to go to the games. It can't get much worse.

Hey Profan, would be there with you and all the True Die Hard Fans but I am in San Diego. I had only seen our TEXANS play that first away game in 2002 when the played the Chargers! I showed up wearing our team colors and Logo & had fun cheering them on :redtowel:

Keep the faith and BELEIVE!!!
:texan:

For Life

Not going anyplace, except to Phoenix in 2008 to HOPEFULLY see my Texans in the SB!! GOTTA DREAM!!!

Have to suffer through the bad times to appreciate the good. Regardless of our BAD record, I still get butterflies when our team hits the field. When I see that mechanical bull tromp all over our opponents heads on that jumbo thron, I get an adrenaline rush! Maybe someday our team will get one too!:)

I'm with you and the Texans till the end no matter what (which means I along with many others will not be booing them no matter how they stink up the place. I may mutter a few curse words but I just don't get the booing our team bit. I do respect someone elses right to "boo" the entertainment product they are looking at if it makes them feel better though) :ok:

Count me in...wouldn't have it any other way....every team goes through a losing phase and it's obviously our time....big deal...it sux but all the complaining in the world isn't gonna change it...Anyone who can so easily abandon our team has likely never been a serious athlete and doesn't understand what it is like to be one and is not aware of all the factors that present the fine line of winning or losing...and it really sux when you try and try and sometimes it just doesn't happen...the people that are there when you're at bottom of the barrel are really the only ones you want when you're at the top.... love or leave it! :texan:

if your with me say your with me. if you dont post on this thread then in 2015 when we finally have a winning season i will remember and call you out as a fair weather fan. and you dont want that.

give it up for the texans!!!

Ok, it could be worse... we could all be living in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

Just as in war you never leave a soldier behind a true fan will never leave his team I have been there through the cowboys 19-10, to the Rams and many other heart breaks. Never give up. Hell I have moved to greece and I still watch the games online. I read what some people have to say and its upsetting, but I have faith. I am glad to see that others are along for that long ride. Just remember how it felt not to have a team.

We still have a shot its not over till the fat lady sings :texflag:

Texan in Maryland. I watch whenever I can, even though it's normally sad. Here's hoping Mario will begin to play up to his draft position.

Been a TEXAN FAN since October 6, 1999...AND im not going anywhere!!!!

Im with you as well, some fans that have a man crush on some of our crappy players hate what I post at times, but OH WELL. Hopefully it doesnt take till 2015.

New Coaches
New Systems on both sides of the balls
Bunches and bunches of new players.
Wong and Mathis not due back for few more games, our RT not due back till next year.
OK... a Superbowl win this year doesn't look likely, but with 80% of the season still ahead of us... isn't it a bit early to give up on the Texans and move to Dallas?

I'm still a Texans fan....but I'm done payin' 7 bucks a beer at the games to watch them get slaughtered. My couch works just as good, and I don't have to listen to opposing fans talk trash and listen to the crowd boo David Carr. I swear we give our team more hell than ESPN ever could. Yes, they are not good right now, but they will come around eventually.

I posted this in another thread but it applies here also:

I'll be the first to admit that though I'm one of the biggest Texans fans I know, I still get very frustrated with them. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother but then it hits me: I think back to '98, '99 when all I wanted was to have pro football here again. Some of you don't realize what you have, or else you have short memories. Maybe I am the definition of a die-hard, but the Texans could total 7 wins in the next 5 seasons and I would still cheer for them. They are my team. Period. Go Texans.

Right on! Back in the 70's, when I cheered for the Oilers, I never expected the team would be moved out of Houston. As a Canadian, I expect small market hockey teams to be moved, but I was shocked that the Oilers were moved. I cheered for the Quebec Nordiques in hockey-they don't exist anymore. So for a while, I was a fan of the games of football and hockey themselves, but not of any particular team. When the NFL announced that Houston would get the expansion franchise, I became a fan even before they had a nickname. So I'm here for life. Even though I'm a foreigner, I choose to cheer for the Texans. The Texans are the only favorite team I have in any sport. Someday I'll go see a game in Houston with my son. He's 4 now, so when we go, the Texans will be a powerhouse.:gotexans1 :redtowel:

Isn't this like a chain letter, if I don't respond within so many days, I'll get the plague, my daughter will have children out of wedlock, and my Visa card will be rejected yet again? Whew! Glad I tallied in :)

sorta, my plan is to get everyone in then have you guys tell your friends. then they tell their friends and pretty soon we take over the world........

with me as your leader:)

I have the bull tattooed on my back, and am a PSL holder. O'h yeah, I bleed battle red. . .I'll be here with you.

ME TOO!

1--I have the "bull logo" tattooed on my right leg, with TEXANS above it.
2--I am a PSL & season ticket holder.
3--From Louisiana (been in Texas for 19 years), was a Saints fan for over 30 years, so I know all about paper sacks & losing. Now look how good
they're doing!
4--Love the game & atmosphere.
5--Love to tailgate.
6--Get to see great players, even if they are other teams.
7--Ain't nothin' like being there. You can't feel this by watching it on TV.

We are in for the long run. But, like any other relationships, there will be ups and downs. Its how we act during the down time that shows character.

Also, I'm in my seat B4 every game, and stay till the end, yelling and cheering the whole time, giving 110% effort. I EXPECT THE SAME FROM MY TEAM.

I'll be in Dallas too, and I'm bringing 14 people with me- We are taking down the Cowboys.
