Hey- I'm still with this team big time! I know it's disappointing but Rome wasn't built in a day! I thought this yr this team can win 4-5 games & I think they still can. Man, I'm so sick of listening to a bunch for whinners, doomists, & chicken littles on this board---pls get off the bandwagon, yer not welcome!!!1!!!:hunter: :chicken: :chicken:

I can't even give my Texans gear away, so I may as well use it. j/k

I've been with this team since the beginning and that's something I take pride in as a fan. I will stick with them through it all even if I'm not happy with them 95% of the time.

Forever.

I almost put the pointed end of my boots up a couple guys' backsides whilst they were going into the stadium with Kroger sacks on their heads, but figured it wasn't worth getting getting arrested for. I got some friends to chant with me how badly they sucked tho.

What is the point of fans if they can't support the team when they need support?

(Mostly rhetorical question. Don't need to read the answers after a game like that.)

Well s**t. I've suffered this much already, no way I'm quitting now.

Besides, it wouldn't be Houston pro football without a good old fashioned kick to the fans groin.

:crutch:

well, yeah kinda a given. Been there for every home game since inception, even some co-tailgaters had "other things" come up on Sundays last year. If we made it through a 2 win season, why the heck would anyone drop 'em now?

It'll be so much sweeter when Kubiak and the Texans take the fans to THE game in the hopefully near future. Patience fans, it'll take a little time to right the ship from 4 years of running it aground.

No "microwave turnarounds".

I still believe we can turn around before the end of this season . . . Looking forward to the Miami game. There is a lot of talent on this team, once they get on the same page things will click.

I'm in for the long haul. While I am shocked (honestly) that we lost to the skins, there's always next week (or the week after)... Go TEXANS

I wore my jersey to work today, and yes it is a mario jersey and I will continue to do so and I reminded everyone I want everyone to take note I did so when we start winning I was one of the few who was loyal all along. Tough weekend for me, our game and Alabama losing to the damn pigs.

I expect they will start getting better around mid-season (assuming we're on the right track here) but this first 8-10 games is going to be a real pain.

I don't see a talent shortfall on this team. Unless we have drafted just monumentally badly I think we're "in the pack" somewhere as far as the talent level is concerned. I just worry that on defense we're maybe "going down the wrong path" in terms of philosophy. If that is the case we could see the offense improve over the second half of the season and still keep losing games like this.

When you're giving up almost 500 yards a game and 30 points I think your offense is going to have to be epic to keep up.

I'm a fan though and I always will be. I'm not going anywhere. I'm just looking at this season in a kind of detached manner as opposed to the last four years. I'm observing it like a lab experiment.

here for the long haul and have been like everyone else. Heres to hopefully getting that W next sunday!!

If I was a fairweather fan I think I would have already been long gone. I'm a true Texan, never gon change.

i'm with ya... i think we have the right front office people and some of the right players...i just have no idea why we suck so bad right now.idonno:
i really think (hope) that by the end of this season we are really going to pull it together kinda like miami last year.

Me 80. True Texan all the way hey I grew up watching the Oilers Astros and Rockets I can do this for sure. But it would be nice to see some fight in them and some of the fans at the game for that matter think about when the stros are playing a sold out game man that place is LOUD go to a Texans game and it is down right shameful so yes shame on the way the players have been playing but shame on us for not making home a nightmare for the other team.

I first became a Texans fan in 2004. The losses to the Chargers and Lions got me PO'd, but the win against KC got me hooked. Losing may suck, but when we win...

After five years of mining, it'd be a shame to sell the mine so that someone can mine three inches and find diamonds.

I'm here...and will be through thick and thin. I can't promise I won't complain though b/c when I see good I acknowledge it and when I see bad I'll call that out too. I'm a fan regardless.

We will get better and we are in our first season w/ a new head coach and a very young team. Most of the people that are so distraught about how we are playing were the ones that was predicting us to go 13-3. All along I've said that 6 wins this season will be our best-case scenario this year. If we don't improve quickly, we may not get that many, but we'll improve and look to next year.

.....still doesn't mean that it's fun to watch your team get destroyed....

Remember if were were cowboy fans right now the star would be peeled of our cars by sunset. Hmmm yup Texan decals are still on my 4runner and my jersey in the dirty cloths hamper. going O-3 is better than having no team, ask all of us in san antonio and we would kill for an 0-3 team. My team is 0-3, but i can look in my mirror and say " at least im not a cowboys fan"

I am NOT a Texans fan. I am a Texans Message Board Poster who wants them to win more than any sports team anywhere, but I am not a fan of the team. They suck and I will no longer claim to be a fan until they finally have a winning record again, at least during a season like when they were 4-3 in 2004 (even though it didn't last very long). I doubt I'll waist my time watching them (much anyway). I'm just sick of it. I don't blame Kubiak, although I think quite of few of his player and personel decisions are turning out to be a rediculous joke. I don't know who to blame at this point--they just suck as an organization. I hate to be a fair weather fan, but life is too short to spend it watching garbage for sports. I watched Carr get pummeled for years and now I'm watching opposing QBs stand around and laugh at our pass rush while our safeties trip all over themselves.

Im prolly the only guy that lives in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and wakes up every Sunday morning at 7:00am just to listen to the Texans on the internet...every game since the beginning....you wanna know why?
cuz im from HOUSTON, and I'M A TEXAN!

I log in everyday, follow the team as closely as possible from a few thousand miles distance.

That should be answer enough for you :)

im here too....texan fan for life.....man...they started off sooo goood!!!Cant waith till Jerome Mathis comes back!!!

this team is awful. im not sure when its gonna get any better. after todays game i think it might be awhile.

i dont usually partake in these "cheerleading" threads but i need some support. let me know im not the only fan left.

if your with me say your with me. if you dont post on this thread then in 2015 when we finally have a winning season i will remember and call you out as a fair weather fan. and you dont want that.

give it up for the texans!!!

I'm here and as a Brit who could of chose any NFL team I sure hope they start winning soon. I work with a Redskins fan but thankfully he's not here today and I'm in Newcastle the rest of the week.

I have been a fan since the Texans were anounced as the new nfl franchise and I will allways be a fan. I think we need a new DC and we need to draft or aquire a top notch cover corner and a free safety and continue to look for a solid left tackle . but I will allways be a Texan fan.

I'm in.

The Cowboys were 1-15 before they won 3 Super Bowls. I was living there during their Super Bowl runs. You'd be surprised how many people used to call the local sports station saying that they were right there in Texas Stadium during the 1-15 season.

I'll be a fan whether the team wins 16 games or wins 0 games. I much prefer the former, though. It's painful to watch sometimes.

Things aren't going to be fixed overnight. I really did believe this team had the ability to win 8 games or more this season. It's still possible I guess, since the schedule is easier as the season moves on (Bills, Browns, Raiders, Titansx2, Jets), but it is going to be a struggle. There is light at the end of the tunnel to me, though.

I have this to use to keep my thoughts positive:

Bill Parcells, Tom Landry, Jimmy Johnson, Bill Walsh, and Bill Belichick started a combined 13-75-2 in their first seasons as NFL Head Coaches. Each of them had taken over teams that had won no more than 4 games in the previous season. They have a combined 20 Super Bowl appearances between them. Only Belichick failed to see a Super Bowl with his first head coaching gig.

i'm still in this and will not leave. Having a hard time finding people to go to the games. It can't get much worse.

Cruuuuuuuz and Malloy, I know how it feels like. The time difference here and U.S. Central time zone is killing me(We are 14hours ahead). Every monday, I feel like suffering from a jet lag. But that aint gonna stop me from following the Texans through Internet.

Go Texans!!
