this team is awful. im not sure when its gonna get any better. after todays game i think it might be awhile.

i dont usually partake in these "cheerleading" threads but i need some support. let me know im not the only fan left.

if your with me say your with me. if you dont post on this thread then in 2015 when we finally have a winning season i will remember and call you out as a fair weather fan. and you dont want that.

give it up for the texans!!!

:hmmm: mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....i guess. I have already bought a lot of Texans gear...and its still better than the alternatitives.Cough..titans...cough.

:shots: :fans:

Im with ya

I was hoping for a jumpstart this year.. but we are firmly in building mode.

The important thing is that we keep positive and keep supporting the team.. and hope we make the right decisions.. we dont want to go the route of the Cardinals/Saints/Browns/Seahawks/Buccaneers

Here is hoping we turn it around this season.. or have a nice draft pick to get excited about :D.

I'll root for the Texans as long as they're around. If you've rooted for them for 4 (5) sucky years, why not hold out until they start winning? It's gotta be by the second half of this next decade. And honestly these sunday's always put a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm usually back to my old optimistic self by Monday.

I posted this in another thread but it applies here also:

I'll be the first to admit that though I'm one of the biggest Texans fans I know, I still get very frustrated with them. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother but then it hits me: I think back to '98, '99 when all I wanted was to have pro football here again. Some of you don't realize what you have, or else you have short memories. Maybe I am the definition of a die-hard, but the Texans could total 7 wins in the next 5 seasons and I would still cheer for them. They are my team. Period. Go Texans.

I'll always be on the bandwagon. I might have gripe or complaint with how something was done but every Sunday afternoon (or night some year soon!) i will be in front of a tv or at the stadium. I am a :homer: but sometimes the frustration needs to get out on the message board with other Texan supporters!:texan:
(damn it! i was here for the oilers! now there's some frustration and good times too!)

When LA lost the Raiders back to Oakland, that was sad. A new team there would be nice. But I'm sure if a 'new team' in LA sucked as bad as the Texans do, there would be an uproar like no other!

It people like you that simply come here to challenge our restraint from "attacking" other posters, don't you have anything better to do?

I said they would be 0-4 and you dont change a bad team in one season. Its going to be rough and all, but I hate to say it.........next year

I'm not trying to challenge anyone. I'm getting my fustration out in the best way I know how. I have been frustrated for 5 years now, and I need to vent. This horrible football playing by the Texans is just wearing me VERY thin. As far as having anything better to do, I'm just like you people. No life with nothing to look farward to except sit on these message boards all day and night.

I'm here. I'll be in the stadium or in front of the TV for away games as long as I'm vertical. Sundays may not be a lot of fun right now, but it will get better. Does the law of averages apply to football?:texans:

No, but the law of inverses does. Example: As high hopes increase, the reality decreases proportionally. We draft a #1 pick, turns out that he should have never been picked (Carr and Williams). Kubiak was the best, now he is the worst. Law of inverses.

I'm here, always will be, the problem is there are too many who set unrealistic expectations at the beginning of the year & those who are mad that the texans didn't draft their guy. :texan:

At the rate their going it will be around 2012 before they have an 8-8 season, that's going to take a lot of :shots: , but I'll still be a fan it will
fun it'll be like being a cubs fan south.:redtowel:

Isn't this like a chain letter, if I don't respond within so many days, I'll get the plague, my daughter will have children out of wedlock, and my Visa card will be rejected yet again? Whew! Glad I tallied in :)

I will be here with you, my daughters might be grown and have children or thier own.....by the time we have a winning season, but I will still be a fan for life....I am here with you all the way.....:redtowel: :redtowel: :redtowel:

I'm with you...We're young, and while the Redskins weren't Philly or Indy, they did get Portis back, who's a great one. WE NEED DEFENSE, yes, I know. But I'm not quitting on the Texans. :highfive:

I'm here with you on this one.

It will take a little time for the offense to get its stuff together...but once it does we'll put up plenty more points.
