2024 COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON info; players to watch

I want a difference maker as a final piece for a healthy defense. I’d really like to see SS- Nick Emmanwori (South Carolina) slide to 25. 6-3 @ 227 lbs and pops a 4.37-40 is difference maker for this defense.

My hopeful defensive backfield would look like this:
SS- Emmanwori
FS- Bullock
CB- Stingley
CB- Lassiter
NB- Pitre

If any of you haven’t seen this guy, take moment and check him out.

That must be Howard and Mason…..use their money to sign C- Ryan Kelly away from the Colts. He’s a seasoned Pro Bowl Center that would bring some much needed leadership to the OL Room.

My hopeful OL would only have one open starting spot:
LT- Tunsil
LG-
OC- Kelly
RG- Patterson
RT- Fisher

I’d sure be tempted to throw a deal at LG- Dalton Risner (MIN) just to have another veteran presence on the OL. Scruggs would be an excellent depth piece.

You are going to have to come up with two guards and probably two wide receivers for me to want to go defense. If you can give me Will Fries and Trey Smith to start as our guards and Tre Harris, Fannin and Golden then I will consider a defensive player.
Emmanwori is everything you say he is but he does not protect your most valuable franchise quarterback nor give him a target to throw to. Hutchison played better than I expected, but no one else did in support of Nico.

Texans got in their window earlier than expected. That being said, they’re now in the window. The Texans need an OL and they need it in a hurry. I know the team is using the ZBS, but they should get the veteran talent needed and draft one developmental IOL or OT.

I’m absolutely sick of looking at both Howard and Mason suck at their craft. I’m cutting both of their arses after June 1st and taking that money to get C- Ryan Kelly and LG- Dalton Risner signed. This immediately improves the Starting OL for the 2025 season.

There’s depth to go along with a draft pick.

I wish Schultz could be cut after June 1st b/c he’s an absolute liability as a blocker. I’d damn near assign 2 to 3 of the 8 sacks to his pitiful blocking arsenal. I’d love to take the TE from UH late since he’s a 6-6 260 lb blocking TE that could become a solid receiver. He started at Michigan State, then Purdue, before arriving at UH last season. The key observation….he’s a solid blocking TE.

I’d be able to focus this draft on getting some play makers on both sides of the ball.

I want two WR and Fannin if possible. I don't think most teams are going to want a tight end like Fannin which would be to the Texans benefit.

Barron would be the BPA.

You cant really go wrong with BPA philosophy. This is a moot point, there's very little chance Barron will be there at 1-25.
