Houston Texans - Sam Houston State defensive end Derick Roberson

Second meeting with Udoh. Must be intrigued by this mammoth OL.
If Udoh gets invited to the Combine I'll be interested in how he performs. Is his footwork good/quick enough? Does he have the strength and the length for the NFL?

The Draft Network's Joe Marino lists Elon T Olisaemeka Udoh as one of the winners from the practices ahead of the East-West Shrine Game.
Marino writes that Udoh had an "incredible" week, and he certainly wasn't the only analyst who came away impressive with the 6-foot-5, 336-pound tackle. "His long arms, mobility and power were on full display during 1v1s and he shined in an overall underwhelming offensive line group," Marino writes. Udoh earned a promotion to the Senior Bowl for his work in St. Petersburg, and if he keeps impressing there, his draft stock is going to improve exponentially.Jan 18 - 3:36 PM

Yea Lucky looks like this guy might take off on every bodies Draft Board like the Texans who's in the market for some OT help and that's a bunch of teams, and it says here he's also now gonna be in Mobile for the Senior Bowl.

I really like Jelks as a potential OLB. He was played out of position on the line (at 240 or 250 lbs) for much of his career at Oregon but they did move him around this season. He has the athleticism, I think, to be a possible replacement for Clowney (along with Ejiofor) if we are unable to come to terms with a long term deal or don't want to invest a ton in JD given his injury history.

Met with the #Texans but wasn’t a formal meeting.

Man I hope they Draft Wesley. Dude's really quick in and out of his breaks and can get vertical. Plus at 6"5 and with his quickness he's going to be a good RZ target.

#Texans have met with Greedy, Murphy, Ya-Sin, JoeJuan, assume Baker too.

CB will be a high priority – expect more clarity in how they see this class vs the OT vs the DL/LB classes over the coming weeks. Will dictate top-2 picks.

They can get value picks for RB, OG on day 3

Renfrow is going to be a Welker type player who frustrates every other team for a decade because he shouldn't be able to get so open, but no one can seem to cover him.

He's one of my two favorite day three WR's along with Butler from Iowa St.

#Texans Head to See Huskers Pro Day with Devine Ozigbo and Stanley Morgan Jr. https://t.co/rIObnKtS6j via @SOTTexans

— State of the Texans (@SOTTexans) March 7, 2019

BEST TRAIT - Feet

WORST TRAIT - Long Speed

BEST FILM - Northwestern (2018)

WORST FILM - Michigan State (2018)

RED FLAGS - None

Devine Ozigbo remodeled his body entering the 2018 CFB season and enjoyed a career season. If able to sustain his current playing condition, Ozigbo could be a bargain buy for an NFL franchise looking to implement a blend of power and lateral quickness into their backfield. Ozibgo thrived in zone rushing concepts at Nebraska under coach Scott Frost, he showed strong anticipation and vision pressing the line of scrimmage to find gaps and secondary cuts.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/devine-ozigbo

BEST TRAIT – Route Running

WORST TRAIT – Play Strength

BEST FILM – Penn State (2017)

WORST FILM – Ohio State (2018)

RED FLAGS – None

Stanley Morgan Jr. projects most favorably as a Z-receiver in the NFL. There, Morgan can get more frequent free releases off of the line of scrimmage and utilize his open field athleticism to threaten defenses on deeper developing routes. Morgan Jr. needs to develop more physicality to beat press for consistent separation against fast-footed CBs in the NFL.

Yep, another small school project for Devlin to develop.

Great
That's disingenuous. The only reason Howard didn't end up in the SEC was because he was physically a late bloomer. He has the physical tools, now. I know you're a big fan of Dalton Risner, right? How many NFL caliber edge rushers did he see in the Big 12 over his career? Not to mention, K-State passes less frequently than almost any other Power 5 school. You don't think Risner will need pro coaching?

I'm not defending or trashing Devlin. But, you're making a case to not take any o-linemen in the draft. Because they need pro coaching. Does that make sense to you?
