2017 NFL Draft Discussion

The Browns remind me of the Texans during the 2014 NFL Draft. Draft a stud DE or go with QB since you have a desperate need to fill at a critical position. IDK if Garrett "fits" a 3-4 scheme but he's easily the best player in the draft and worthy of the #1 pick.

Browns are moving to a 4-3 this year.
 
This scares me a little: per rotoworld

NFL Media's Daniel Jeremiah tosses out Michigan DL Chris Wormley and USC WR Juju Smith-Schuster as two potential "shocker" first-round picks.

Rotoworld's Josh Norris is nodding his head at the Wormley buzz, as he ranks the athletic Wolverine defender as the No. 27 overall prospect. Wormley reminds Norris of Henry Anderson and Dean Lowry. Teams running a 3-4 will be most interested.

I know they visited with Wormley. This board would be in full rebellion I think if he is picked at 25.
 
Wormley is going to be a very good pro football player. I wouldn't hate that pick. I like having very good players on our team.

However, I would be scratching my head and wondering what the future holds for Watt and/or Clowney.

They visited with him 3 times during the process (SR,C,P). More than anyone else in the process. I like Wormley as well but QB, OT, or DB seem more pressing, but if not do they not believe in JJ or resiging JD. Not to mention his pSparq at 93.9% is the best interior DL in the class.
 
Wormley is a freak. Great athlete at that size and very versatile. As much as I want a QB, if we don't like one then we shouldn't draft one just to satisfy the need for one. Need to draft good football players.

I think fans need to prepare themselves for us maybe going defense tonight.
 
Lots of experts are saying the Browns will take Trubisky #1. I think they won't. They have a history of taking the wrong QB that rivals the Texans' past performance.

While I agree with this logic, I'm smelling fear/desperation coming from Kirby Dr., a trade up would not surprise me. McNair wants a QB badly to erase the memory of Osweiler, be the face of the franchise, and offer hope to the fans, because hope sells tickets, posters, jerseys, etc...

How would Texans fans react if they did NOT have a 1st RD and 2nd RD draft picks in 2018?
