Do you want to do a full blown TT mock this year?

Alexander has been slipping to us a lot lately on mocks. I'm not sure if he really did we should or could pass him. Need be dammed he might be to good to pass up. JMO but I believe Spriggs will be there at our 2nd round pick. Again. JMO.

Some mocks have him already gone by 22.

I'm in... prefer San Francisco (so I can not take a QB) but... it doesn't really matter. Well, not the Browns.

Or the Lions.

Or Tennessee...

Or the Jags.

J/K, it doesn't matter. Let me know a couple of days before my first pick so I can get into character.

Idk for some reason I like Will Jackson more then Alexander. At the very least I dont see much that separates the 2 from the limited amount of film ive watched on either of them. However I dont think we take a corner in the first 2 year in a row. I could see taking one in the mid rounds though

This would be my first year doing it, so I'd need some help with a site you use to look at mock drafts that do all 7 rounds.

Also, how do we get notified we are up to pick?

TK trying to throw us off the scent. Taking Cook at #7.

So who is making decision on format? Are we going with random.org or PN randomizer to assign teams or are we going to select teams? When will we know?

Others can chime in with favorite sites.

If it is done the same as previously there will be 2 threads running during the draft - 1 to make selections and discussion and a 2nd with the order, selections made and clock. There's a time period permitted after the last pick. You're supposed to check in and know when you are up next/on the clock but folks tend to post reminders, pms as well. Also you can put selections in ahead of time if you don't think you will be around.

So how do we want to do this? Should I go through and assign guys to the teams they chose and then randomly assign the other teams? Or should we randomly assign everyone? And are we going Group Pick with the Texans?

Oh, and what about "multiple" teams since I don't think we've had 32 people volunteer.

I'm willing to take multiple teams if necessary.

I would prefer one team and prefer not the Patriots (I would like to do something in the first round), but I'd be cool with being random outside of that if possible.

I don't know, but we should start pretty soon if we're going to finish by the draft. Isn't Blake in charge?

I think the plan is to start on the 4th. That's why I'd like to get the teams chosen today or tomorrow so we all have time to investigate our teams and figure it out.

Quite a few people like Beerlover/Myself etc.... are willing to take 2 teams if needed. I will take the Pats as my 2nd team if needed.

I'll be Chip's GM, lol

oops did Fanspeak Mock (big board recently updated 3/29) traded with Oakland, figured big two QB's off the board, and they were, so picked up Paxton Lynch #14 + 3 more extra picks to go with 11 already in hand. what a haul

My vote is to randomly assign everyone, giving multiple teams to those that are ok with it. And a group pick for the Texans is ok if everyone is ok with the time drag it will cause

I'm fine with 2 teams. I would also just give people one of the teams they've asked for and then randomize everything else.

For example, I've seen multiple people ask for 49ers so just put them in the random pool. I've seen 1 person ask for Cleveland so just give the Browns to that person. No need to randomize that.

If it's not too big a pain that's my recommendation - let folks who have some special interest/knowledge in teams have those if expressed.

In that case I'd take LA Rams or Tenn

Just browsing through the thread again...these teams were only requested by one person.

Baltimore - infantrycak
Chicago - steelbtexan
Cleveland - Say Watt
Denver - infantrycak
Los Angeles - JB
Seattle - bah007
Tampa Bay - TexansSeminole
Tennessee - JB

All other teams were either not requested or were requested by multiple people so just randomize them. Just my thoughts.

Is there a rule against trading between two teams run by the same person?
Or are there any trades?

Sorry. I was just asked and haven't had time to go over prior threads.

I'll take the earliest available team in the draft.

Sooo, give everyone on this list their requested team, random everyone else, and random everyone a second team who is ok with/wants a second.

Then, group pick for Texans or no? What say everyone finally? I think it would be fun, but if it's voted against, no biggie.

Just give me one random team... this is getting too complicated

I like that. And I'll take a second team as well.

Since this is getting a bit more complicated, does anyone mind if I just perform the randomization on my local machine instead of making it web-available?

For the Texans, I'm not against the group pick. But I think the votes should be written in and tallied. Whatever player gets the most votes during the allotted time period is the pick. Whoever is running the draft at that moment breaks any ties.

That leaves pretty much every option available instead of making a poll. Sometimes legitimate options get left off that way.

This works. One player write-in per person per Texans pick, all tallied.

Anyone object?

srrono - SF I posted on page 2

As we said, if multiple people request the same team, I'll random assign that team to one of them, and then put the rest into the completely random pool.

OR... do we want to give a team to the first that picked it?

random everyone... make everyone have to start from scratch
