they weren't willing to get jumped ahead of, next years 6th is chump change to secure the guy they want. Must have been in love.

Typical Texans PANIC, trade up for Fuller when Treadwell and Doctson are still on the board.
 
I would have rather had the DHop clone. But no use crying over spilled milk. Hopefully he doesn't fit my usual stigma with speed WRs and avoids chronic ankle sprains.

Atleast smart people who have played in the NFL agree with me about Rick.
 
It seems to me that the Texans now have 3 young WRs with great potential and each clearly has a role on the field.

Time to coach the heck out of Fuller and Strong, and hope they fulfill that potential and give Os the options to free up Hop and also Miller out of the backfield. Get the trenches sorted tomorrow, hopefully fix TE and the offense can be on the right track (poor choice of phrase I know).
 
I obviously would have preferred Treadwell and Doctson but I do like Fuller. I think he's a natural playmaker. Obviously, it's the hands that bother everyone. He better get better in that area.

Yeah I don't like the pick but this guy thrown in with everyone else on O looks good on paper

Saw a mock with Skins taking Coleman just in front of us. With Coleman off the board, Texans thought Skins might take Fuller. Fuller was obviously the player we wanted and took no chances. With Skins taking Doctson, they may well have taken Fuller if available. Good trade.

Yup. He fits our offense and needs to perfection. We didn't need another outside wideout. We needed a slot guy with speed to blow the top off of defenses. Fuller has the speed and shiftiness to return kicks too.
