PM from bah007...

The New England Patriots select Rob Crisp - OT, NC State

You just got the Jets next pick.

If Crisp can not get concussions and not get knocked on his butt (Cracked tailbone) this pick is a steal. Crisp has 1-2nd rd talent minus injury concerns.

Well since every ILB I really valued as my “late steals” were stolen from me, it made this pick real easy for me.

I got real scared when Lucky started talking about this cat and wanted to tell him to shut it, but I knew that would draw unneeded attention to my draft “steal”.

With the 222nd overall pick and the final pick for the Redskins in 2015, we select:

Terrell Watson – RB – Azusa Pacific

It’s rare that in the 7th round you found a combination of collegiate production, size, and speed for the NFL. But I think this guy can be it. I know he played in D2, I know he’s got a “learning disability”, and I don’t care. This dude is a G, and if any of you go here and watch this video, it’s definitely hard to not want him on your team as well (especially with ONLY a 7th round investment).

http://yahoo.thepostgame.com/blog/e...cific-running-back-nfl-draft-football-diaries

I read what Lance Z wrote about him, but I don’t care and think that he’s wrong. If this dude gets an opportunity, I think he will literally “run away with it”.

Oakland Raiders Mock Draft Results

Kevin White WR West Virginia 6'-3" 215 4.35
Dorial Green-Beckham WR 6'-5" 237 4.49
Preston Smith DE Mississippi St. 6'-5" 271 4.74
Grady Jarrett DT Clemson 6'-1" 304 5.06
Jeremy Langford RB Michigan St. 6'-0" 208 4.42
Lorenzo Doss CB Tulane 5'-10" 182 4.49
Jalston Fowler FB Alabama 5'-11" 254 4.89

With the 223rd pick in the TT Mock Draft the New York Jets select David Irving DE Iowa St. 6'7 280 Lbs, 4.84. Irving is very quick off of the ball, has long arms and a very violent punch. He made Scherff look bad in the Iowa/Iowa St. Game.

Irving has baggage or a player of his abilities wouldn't be available this late in the draft. Irving was cheating on his GF and mother of his child. They argued and he left to go get treatment for a football related injury with the ISU training staff. When he got home his babies momma decided to cut up his clothes with scissors and throw his PS2 out of a 2nd story window. Irving gets home throws babies momma on the bed and cuts her hair after she tells him she's moving back to California. This wonderful young lady comes from a family of drug dealers.

I'm good with taking players with talent but questionable character this late in the draft. We're not talking about Aaron Hernandez here.

With the 224th pick in the TT Mock Draft the New York Jets select Terry Williams DT East Carolina 6'0 350 Lbs 5.25. Williams moves very well for a fat man. He holds the point of attack and against Va. Tech last yr lived in the backfield. If this heart attack waiting to happen would quit smoking/selling weed and get in half decent shape he could become a dominant NT and have a long NFL career.

In keeping with the Steel B philosophy of taking troubled but talented players late in the draft Williams may wash out or he may be a 10 yr starter, he's got that kind of ability. The cost of a 7th rd pick to find out seems pretty cheap when your talking about a player with Williams physical gifts.

With the 225th pick in the TT Mock Draft the Atlanta Falcons select DeAndre Smelter WR Georgia Tech 6'2 226 LBS, 4.42. Smelter is a 1st rd talent who tore an ACL in Ga Tech's last regular season game. Big play guy in the mold of DeMaryius Thomas. Huge physical WR that can really run. Great at high pointing the ball and making contested catches.

Probably will have to redshirt next season, but will be well worth the wait especially with Roddy White near retirement.

10(227) Rams (beerlover) -- On the clock 4:20pm.
11(228) Vikings (bah007) --
12(229) Browns (Playoffs) --
13(230) Saints (PHILLYTEXANFAN) --
14(231) Lions (from Dolphins through Ravens) (GROUP PICK) --

NY Jets Draft.

1. Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson
2. Garrett Grayson, QB,Colorado St.
3. Tre Jackson, OG, Fla. St.
4. David Johnson, RB, Northern Iowa
7. David Irving DE, Iowa St.
7. Terry Williams NT East Carolina.

The NYJ's got the pass rusher/QB/RB they wanted. They added a possible starting OG and added depth to the DL. They missed out on ILB (Wanted Paul Dawson) and adding depth to the OL.

Bottom line, if you want a top ILB in this years draft you need to go get him. He aint gonna fall to you.

NY Giants select Kenny Bell, WR, Nebraska

PM from TPN.

Sneaky good potential here, imo. (Really bad hair)

Kenny+Bell+Iowa+v+Nebraska+OQXSOvMo9a0l.jpg

Great pick it was between Bell or Smelter with the Atl pick. I hope the Texans can find a quality WR like this late in the draft. Either one of these guys would be an upgrade over Martin/Posey. There's another WR I've got my eye on for the last Falcons pick.

That is a really really nice draft. David Johnson in the 4th is a steal

Thanks, I really like Grayson (Who I think is the best QB in this draft.) and Johnson's versatility adds a weapon that the Jets offense was lacking last yr.

The Cleveland Browns select Michael Liedtke - C/OG, Illinois State

Athletic interior player that transferred from Western Michigan and started 2 years at OG for the Redbirds. Like his teammate, James O'Shaughnessy, he tested very well at the Northwestern Pro Day and looked very fluid in drills. Will probably transition to Center at the next level because of his short arms and smaller frame (6-3, 305) but he has plus athleticism for the position. He doesn't get near the notoriety as his teammates Jermaine Barton (6-7, 320) and Rocco Ammons (6-5, 330) because he is not as physically imposing as they are. He is a far superior football player though, IMO.

40-Yard: 4.94
10-Yard: 1.73
Shuttle: 4.70
3-Cone: 7.35
Bench: 28 reps
Vertical: 33 inches
Broad: 9-foot-5

If he goes to the right team (like the Texans), Johnson is going to surprise a lot of people

If Ray was as rounded as you want him to be, I doubt he would be available at #16.

I would just like him to have more than just speed off the snap. I see another Micheal Sam. That scares me. I'm not dogging the pick, hell I picked a guy on pretty much potential a pick before you. I can see why you picked him. Hell I could see the Texans drafting him. It wouldn't be a crazy pick. I just think there were/will be guys who have better skill sets available at 16.

Also I don't really think an argument is valid when it starts with "besides those 3 sacks he didn't do anything."

I knew someone would say that. :specnatz: Actually it was 2 sacks. I gave him credit for the one that the QB scrambled into him but the QB got back to the LOS. Still I know how that sounds. Just watch the video and then tell me you are comfortable taking him at 16. And yes I realize it's just one game but dam he looks terrible other than 3 plays.

All I know is this guy is like a firecracker off the line.

Absolutely! No argument there. Hell IMO that is what we need around Watt. Again just scared to take a guy that high just because he takes off fast. Hell If thats what you want trade down and draft Owamagbe Odighizuwa. He is lightning fast off the snap and he is very good against the run.

Yes!!!! I would love to see us draft him. This offense could use a back like him.

yeah I'm just hoping he falls to us in the 3rd cuz I think we have bigger holes to fill the first 2 rounds.

The Lions have addressed 3 needs so far but have depth needs at OG and S...

Group pick for Lions... what say you???

yeah I'm just hoping he falls to us in the 3rd cuz I think we have bigger holes to fill the first 2 rounds.

Im hoping with the depth of this RB class and this new perceived value on RB's, He will fall to the fourth round. Maybe the fifth!

Lions take Chaz Green OT/OG Fla. ?

I also like Trenton Brown

Has Chickilo been picked yet?

With the 231st pick in the TT Mock Draft the Detroit Lions select Chaz Green OT/OG, Florida, 6'5 316 Lbs, 5.16.

Since the Chiefs have made all there selections here is a recap of my picks and some thoughts:

1.) Eddie Goldman, DL, Florida St.

- Ideally a NT but can be plugged in as a DE/DT next to Dontari Poe to form a powerful run-stopping force. Needs coaching and pass rushing improvement but a solid player.

2.) Jalen Collins, CB, LSU

- Tall and speedy CB who will fight for the ball and can support the defense versus the run. Needs to continue improving but probably the best CB available in terms of skill set.

3A.) Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas St.

- Top notch in terms of football skills and character. Likes to block and can contribute as a return man as well.

3B COMP.) Rob Havenstein, OT, Wisconsin

Solid at the point of attack and plays better than most people will give him credit for. Finishes plays and has excellent control of his body and balance.

4.) Jeff Heuerman, TE, Ohio St.

Team captain and leader who performed well at the combine (led TEs with 26 reps on bench press). Good vertical leap and has the athletic skills needed for his position.

5A COMP.) Derrick Lott, DE, Tennessee-Chattanooga

Skilled pass rusher who can play the DE position in a 3-4 if he becomes stronger. Great use of hands and has the ability to discard blockers.

5B COMP.) Quayshawne Buckley, DE, Idaho

Can split blockers and can penetrate the LOS. Explosive hips and will do whatever it takes to shed blockers and stop the play.

6.) Chad Hamilton, C, Coastal Carolina

Good lateral movement and foot quickness. Excels against stunts and inside moves by DLs. Mirrors defenders and is able to change directions and move defenders out of the play.

6A COMP.) Antonie Everett, OG, McNeese St.

Excels against the bull rush with excellent hands and wins early and often on snaps.

7.) Zach Wagenmann, LB, Montana

Excels as a pass rusher and has good closing burst. Focused player who can recognize screen passes and keeps eyes focused on the backfield.

Thanks to blake and all who assisted with proxy picks!

Love this kid, will root for him wherever he goes except Dallas.

Fantastic run we've been on since switching to the two hour clock. Will finish in plenty of time now. Props to the guys who were making picks during the weekend and also keeping the thread interesting with debate. I know this thing can get boring at the end if it just turns into a dull thread where nobody posts unless it's to announce their selection.

18(235) Texans (Blake) -- on the clock 7:00am - 9:00am
19(236) Cowboys (infantrycak) -- on deck

With their final selection, #235, the Houston Texans select:

Antwan Goodley, WR, Baylor 5'10" 209

Baylor has produced some excellent talent at the WR position. I actually forgot about this guy as he is way down on a lot of peoples rankings, but I remember watching a few Baylor games the last 2 years and thinking this guy could make some big plays even at 5'10".

His breakout year was in 2013, 71 catches for 1300 yards and 13 TDs, but due to injury only played 10 games in 2014 collecting 830 yards with 6TDs.

Played outside, slot and RB. Also returned kicks during his time at Baylor making him very versatile. Keyshawn Martin's days are numbered.
