Big body WR at 6'3 233 pounds. He was relatively productive for VT this year with 51 receptions for 953 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Bears need some help at WR, and this guy could develop into a good WR behind Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery. He's not a burner, but he is a fighter, and he had to make a lot of plays on the ball last year.

Big guy with low to mid 4.4s speed; raw to the position, but with great athleticism. Excellent potential especially this late in the draft.

Besides Minter, hopefully this pick continues to shore up a poor defense. Greer was solid this year for the Cavs and could develop into a good situational player, or possibly trade bait.

Winn, who scored a 58-yard touchdown on the Bearcats’ first offensive play of the season against Pittsburgh finished the season with 1,334 yards and 13 touchdowns, after spending the previous two seasons as the primary backup to Isaiah Pead (St. Louis Rams).

I love this guy for the Texans late. He reminds me of Arian coming out. He keeps his legs driving till the play is over. Runs with power but has nice deceptive wiggle. Is perfect for a zone blocking team.

Possibilities:
OT (even though I don't know if any of them is better than Mondek)
A big and/or tall CB
A SS
A TE who can preferrably catch or who's already a good blocker that has catching potential
A RB to compete with Meggett
Another LB for depth (depending on whether you project Reed at ILB or OLB)
A big NT

Height: 6-6. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Projected Round (2013): FA.
3/16/13: Reed had five receptions for 37 yards in 2012. New Mexico struggled to pass the ball. Reed performed well at the East-West Shrine and at his pro day.

8/21/12: Reed is the younger brother of Houston Texans linebacker Brooks Reed. Lucas Reed hauled in 22 receptions for 241 yards as a junior in 2011. His most productive year was in 2010, when he caught 33 passes for 459 yards and five scores.
 
I really want to like Reed, but his game tapes in both 2011 and 2012 left a lot to be desired. His blocking is OK (but the competition is not all that.) His route is basically the 5-yard type.
I think he's an UDFA.

03/07/2013 - 2013 New Mexico Pro Day: While the 2013 NFL draft may lack in headlining skill-position prospects, it does offer intriguing depth. This is particularly true at tight end, which is generally regarded as one of the classes' most talented positions. It is precisely because of this depth that likely kept scouts from inviting New Mexico's Lucas Reed to the combine. Representatives from a handful of teams that traveled to see he and the rest of the Lobos perform at Thursday's Pro Day, however, were treated to a performance that would have ranked among the best among tight ends tested in Indianapolis.
Reed measured in at 6-6, 247 pounds and despite possessing very long arms (35 1/4"), topped the high set by Stanford's Zach Ertz this year at the combine with 27 repetitions of 225 pounds. His explosiveness extended to the vertical jump, as well, where he posted a 37" vertical jump. Reed was unofficially clocked between 4.65-4.72 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He had a 4.08-second time in the short shuttle and covered the three-cone in 6.97 seconds.

Reed performing well during workouts isn't a surprise. His older brother, former Arizona pass rusher Brooks Reed, also worked out exceptionally well, contributing to his earning a second round selection by the Houston Texans. Luke Marquardt to hold workout at Azusa Pacific on April 11...Azusa Pacific offensive tackle Luke Marquardt - who was at the NFL Scouting Combine but unable to work out due to a broken foot suffered during his senior season - will be working out on April 11 at the school. A group of NFL offensive line coaches will be present to watch Marquardt go through drills. Marquardt's height - he's 6-foot-8 - helps make him an intriguing NFL prospect, and could allow him to be the first Azusa Pacific player selected in the NFL draft since Christian Okoye - the famous "Nigerian Nightmare" - was a second-round pick in 1987 by the Kansas City Chiefs. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com

He's actually pretty athletic VIDEO He is number 77. Hard to follow but shows athleticism.
 
I was about to make the correction on Fauria.
I still think that Reed is an UDFA.

A guy who tested well and had good production in the FCS is Josh Hill, Idaho St.

I forgot about the guy from Asuza Pacific; I've seen that video already.
Wish I had stopped by to watch him a few months ago on my trip (wish the texans had paid for the trip, LOL); I was in the area, too.
 
For Texans, I like Damion Square DE from Alabama, Joe Vellano DE from Maryland, or Omar Hunter DT from Florida. All of them to play 3-4 DE, where we need depth. I prefer Vellano.
 
Well if you guys are deadset on a TE, I think a blocking TE could have some value now. A couple good ones at this spot might be Philip Lutzenkirchen of Auburn and Ben Cotton from Nebraska. Cotton will probably be a UDFA, but I do think Lutz will be drafted. Lutz had no QB this year, so it's no surprise he had low receiving stats. His measurables are: Height: 6-3. Weight: 258, Arm: 33.28, Hand: 10.28, 40 Time: 4.94.

Seemed like a good blocker at Auburn, and underutilized in the passing game. Could be a nice prospect this late in the draft.
 
About the LBs, with the two picks we've already made, I don't think the strategy should call for a late round pick; we have many of them on the team already, including Alexander, Collins, Mohamed, and D. johnson

Is Jamison returning?

We also have Crick, and both Delano Johnson and Hunter can and does play DE too.

We also have Keith Browner and Ra'shon Harris.

We've already had Byrne and Supernaw, both are good blocking TEs.
I don't want a nickel back either since we've already got McCain and Harris; a big corner makes more sense to me.

To me, that means we have Jamison and Crick and a bunch of no namers with no experience. Can't hurt to keep adding depth there and competition.

The guys that we find this late on the draft are mostly no name anyway.
Hunter was signed for 3 years; they must like him much.
Delano Johnson and Sunny Harris both showed flashes last pre-season.
I'm still open if there's a diamond in the rough, but if we can find BPA at another position, we should go with that, don't you think?

Ya I agree, I just don't have anyone on my board that is standing out except Vellano. I'd just prefer no name guys to compete with other no name guys so we can get the best no name guy haha.

I think we have one or two more interior guys going to camp last year, so I'm open to draft one, especially with the extra 6th round comp pick.

However, we still need to consider other spots.
I like a couple of RBs on Dutch's list; I think we need one for TC to compete against Meggett who might not make the roster.
