Texans at Steelers: Gameday Thread

im a mixture of excitement and nerves... i think today is a great chance to set down a marker and get a win and make evryone take a little notice. we can beat the steelers if we play clean football

might as well start off early in the thread... anybody got an internet stream of the game before i go searching?
 
added my players to the Sunday Ticket player tracker this morning and noticed they have added a channel for HD game mix and HD Red Zone.

Keys to the game:


#1. Stop the running game of the Steelers.

#2. Putting pressure on Roethlisberger. Stopping the running game will help this.

#3. The Texans need to average 3-4 yards a carry.

#4. Take the crowd out of the game early.

I have a good feeling about today. I know I predicted a loss, but I have a feeling it could be Carolina vs. Texans 07 all over again. You know what I love about cocky fans like those Panthers and Steelers fans? Its that after they get upsetted in a game against an underdog, they totally flipped out on their forum and act like their season is going to go 2-14 or something. Makes for some good reading material.:D

He was part of the inactive's list, as is Okam. Sad, we're losing size up front, which we needed against a tough Steelers running game. That means Weaver is playing most game right? :mcnugget:

I'm hoping Kalu and McClover see a lot of action on passing downs. DelJuan Robinson over Frank Okam is an interesting move. Losing about 50 lbs anchoring against the run right there.

Dude, I couldn't sleep at all last night. I got into bed at 1am and laid there with football thoughts running through my head til like 5am. Then I woke up early at 10am because of the dang constructors fixing my roof was making all these noises. I need coffee.

True. He might be of help on the running game though, unless his skills in that also diminished. I haven't paid much attention to him last year or pre-season so I wouldn't know.
 
I'm glad we got TexansTalk back, I thought I was going to have to spend the whole game on the Steelers board. LOL

Ahhh, football season. The weekly ritual of looking on the internet to find a stream of the Texans, delaying sunday dinner so its not during the game, and listing to 610 starts again. Unbeatable.
