Texans at Steelers: Gameday Thread

AAAAHHHH!!! What's HE doing on the Texans pre-game!! (I knew it was coming) :mcnugget:

Hey, they didn't announce him as a Texans GM, just said he spent 24 years in NFL front office and 3 years as Redskins GM. I guess he's been erased from our history.

Rotel is done, Miller Lite is icy. Man, my heart is thumping in anticipation. Let's get it on Texans!:fans::gotexans1

Ahhh, football season. The weekly ritual of looking on the internet to find a stream of the Texans, delaying sunday dinner so its not during the game, and listing to 610 starts again. Unbeatable.

Beer time! :texflag:

and the texans can help you take your mind off king kev and nufc:spit:

Please Santa, I've been such a good boy all summer, give me a winning football team this year! Lets get it on!:texflag:

maybe that's what Vinny was doing when the server was down, deleting all references to... to... ummm, who is he again?

Damn, I don't remember. Vinny is goood.

You ARE aware of the NFL gamepass offered to us abroad right ?

I pay ~200$ (I think) for the entire regular season, one team. for a bit more you'll get access to ALL games during the regular season.

Yea, well aware, just can't afford it whilst I'm at college...theres usually watchable streams linked on www.myp2p.eu anyway, theres a host of programs, and whilst they don't have the gamepass quality, are still pretty watchable.

Gameday Trends

-In the only two meetings between the teams, the Steelers have outgained the Texans by an average of 270 yards but are 1-1.

-The Steelers have won five straight opening days, by an average of 17.4 points.

-The Texans have given up an average of 119 rushing yards the past four opening days.

If you don't mind watching the game like 2-3 days late, you can download the full game in high quality at TYT 2.0. Currently their forum is down right now but the owner updated his blog today and said they'll be back soon. It's where I got all my games like year.

Arh ok, I just didn't want you to miss out due to the lack of info. GL finding other feeds :)

Finally, that Mario vs. Big Ben thing they've been teasing on NFL Countdown all morning is running...

Edit:
ESPN has a new video toy. Interesting that they used Mario to unveil it.

Anyone mention that McClover and Kalu are active and Cochran and Bulman are not? McClover gets his one-game audition I guess. They are still heavy at 11 DLs so there's still a decision to be made there.

Very nice simulation and graphics on the Mario v. Marvel feature.

does that work for you?

Most of the time. Usually works best when we're playing a 'bigger' team (i.e. bigger fanbases, and therefore more people streaming games and wanting streams), but there is more often than not at least one stream, and its fairly watchable. A couple of games a season it may be a bit jumpy, but for me its sure better than paying three weeks worth of food money for a bit better quality football streams on gamepass.

Evans - Texans, Liddell - Steelers.

Holy crap was that ever the surprise. Liddell got completely KO'd from that punch.

so youve downloaded all that crap to bypass the ban on it in the uk (so people cant watch premiership games)?

Okay, well at least they have some new commercials and not the same-ol-same-ol... although I'll be muting some of them by week 12.

Yea, downloading a couple of programs will cover most of the streams on offer, it works exactally the same with all premiership games, just go onto the same website, and load the game you want to watch, and hopefully it streams alright without too much lag.

It isnt a ban on NFL in the UK, its Sky Sports (the channel who show football in the UK) choosing to show one Texans game per season (which is our prime time game anyway, and constantly show teams such as the Raiders, Patriots and Bears regardless of matchup and significance). If Sky Sports were showing the Texans game as either of their 1 p.m. games, I'd be fine!

Gotta' be honest, if we cover the spread I will be happy. Call me negative or whatever, I think if we can keep the Steeler's within 7 we played well. I think the Steelers will win the AFC North and win 11+ games.

Anyone else see Calliando? (SP) LMAO!

the ESPN crawl said Cochran was "probable: Back"
We know he's out because the ht.com site says so. I just hadn't heard anything about Cochran having back issues before
