oh im taking the texans. Strahan won't have a friendly quarterback to "Assist" him with this particular sack record. Carr is no brett favre.
 
If we could depress the Giants players like we do their fans, we might have a chance today. Here's to hoping they've been reading our message boards. :redtowel:

Call me crazy but I have a good feeling about this game. I have this strange feeling that the Texan's defense will play very well today. I think Eli and Tiki are great players but I think the Texans will prevail. On the other hand, Who will lead us to victory? I am not so sure. I hope David can get the offense motivated and keep the ball moving. :redtowel:
 
Texans by 5, Carr is good at the possesion passes, that keeps the opponents O off the field and that will help us. The G-men have a great front 4, not good, great, so we can't bad mouth anybody on this team if we only win by 1. Now that everyone on this team knows that they are replaceable, it will make evryone work harder not to be benched. I see Eric Winston as a target, but since we know it, we can use it to our advantage-our Coaching staff should know this also. Getting to Manning will not be easy, expecting Tiki is an easy guess, stopping the run will fall on Ryans, as it should be, and if he can find Tiki's running lane first we could have a knock down drag out donnybrock that will fill our hearts with pride for the day, not the week, because we will all start with the what if's prior to the end of the game.
 
I hope my Texans will win every week. Don't care how, or by how much.
Sometimes they do, most the time they don't. Still love 'em.

I think it's today.

I think they are looking past us, to the Bears. Once the problems start for them, it'll snowball.

I won't be doing the play-by-play today, as I'll be looking closely at the linemen instead. Volunteers for a replacement?
 
The NY football Giants have allowed just over 50% passing completions & 211 yards. On avg, we've gained 209 ypg with a 70% completion percentage.

Carr just needs to be his avg self....... without the turnovers...... fumbles are a no-no.... Ints..... I can handle if he would please not clam up after he throws one.

On the ground, we avg 88 ypg on 24 carries. They allow 96 ypg on 24 carries.... we have the benefit of having a better running game over the last three games than our stats show.


We've allowed 224 yards passing at 64% completion. NYG has avg'd 223 @ 61% completion.

We allow 134 ypg on 30 carries..... they avg.. 146 ypg on 31 carries. But we haven't allowed a 100 yard rusher in 3 of our last 4 games, and that 1 was Julius Jones for 106 yards.

If we take care of the football, this could be a good game, a close game, that we need to know if we can win.


I love my Texans, but if We don't get multiple sacks, this game will get out of hand. 31-14 NYG.... If we can stay in Eli's face(hey, we can't beat your brother, so we're going to take it out on you).. we'll be looking at a much lower score 10-7 anybodies game.
 
Looking for good play-by-play today. Can't go watch the game cause the wife is at work. Then again, they could always sit in a booth with a gameboy and a big bowl of candy and be good to go. After all it's not a bar, it's a "SPORTS" bar, that makes it okay to bring kids right?

Quick question/ thing to watch for:

Will the Texans put a bigger hit on Jacobs than Jacobs will put on one of the Texans? Dude was steamrolling DBs last week.

Anyone remember Atwater vs. Okoye?

Dude runs upright and tries to pick on DBs... I hope Mario flattens him.

I hope our D-Backs can stop Jacobs......but that is a "whole-lot-o'-stoppin' " to do! This is a great stage for the Texans to send a positive message to the nation about themselves........Here's to hoping they make us all proud!!!:redtowel:
 
I predict Carr and the Texans show up today and play respectable . They'll get killed in Jacksonville cause thats what they do ... get your hopes up and then show their ADHD side .

D-Rob does a great job of Tackling guys that are bigger than he is(& he really shouldn't be challengine these dudes) in the open field. So that will be interesting to watch.

But I'm worried about our other guys... CCBrown.... He may be OK....

Meco?? hopefully he continues to play bigger than he is.

Hey, the whole squad is going to have to play bigger today.....I know we can compete with the Giants. And...if we get everyone going in the same direction early, we can win this game. Another big key to winning today is going to be "How does Kubiak do vs Coughlin?"
 
I thought we were going to run the wishbone after that first play.
