You can take a ol player who is technique sound with his hands and feet, but needs to add strength. A guy who kinda fit this is Meyers when he got to Houston. From a technique point he was good, but he wasn't strong enough against some of the players in front of him. Once his strength caught up with his technique, he was really good. Fisher isn't technically sound nor strong. He's getting beat every which way you can. Much like Kenyon Green was, he's looking exactly like that already. As an NFL OLineman (espcially an OT), it would be difficult to attain effective technique without functional strength which correlates with leverage, agility and quickness.
Strength is a foundational component for an NFL Olineman, particularly for an OT. Effective technique in blocking, pass protection, and run game relies heavily on a lineman’s ability to generate and sustain power against elite defensive players. Superior strength enables an OT to anchor in pass protection (resist bull rushes and maintain a firm pocket against powerful edge rushers). It factors in drive block in the run game (displace defenders at the point of attack to create running lanes). It factors in hand fight (use of grip strength and upper body power to control and redirect opponents). It also factors in base and balance (maintaining a low center of gravity and stability, which stems from lower body strength).
No doubt, without functional strength, technique becomes theoretical—you might know how to block, but you won’t have the physical capacity to execute consistently against elite competition. Conversely, strength without technique leads to wasted energy and poor positioning. Both of these aspects need time to develop and need to develop temporally equally in a young inexperienced NFL OT.
They haven’t put out any report yet. He got hurt during a special teams drill.Rookie DB Jalen Reed helped all feel with a lower body injury. Any news? Anyone?

Good news is it looks like Caley/Popovich got Ersery right. You can take a ol player who is technique sound with his hands and feet, but needs to add strength. Ray Lewis is often cited as having overcome initial terrible technical deficiencies to become a Hall of Famer. You can take a ol player who is technique sound with his hands and feet, but needs to add strength. That was awful coverage by Damon Arnette
I hope the offense does not get too depressed going against our defense.
Very disappointingCenter is the last battle left. The other four spots are set imho.
Fisher didn’t even compete. They draft a guy in the second round that could compete for your spot and this is the best effort you give? Disappointed. That’s not swarm. He is on a glide path to splittsville if he doesn’t get his act together by next year.
